We are in receipts of **** ****** complaint and offer the following.

*** and **** **** purchased a 5-year travel membership with Excursions on April 4, 2025. At the time of purchase, ***** and ***** **** signed a legally binding contract indicating they understood the terms and conditions of the travel membership. I have included copies of *** and **** ****** contract for your viewing.

*** and **** **** purchased a travel membership that provides discounts on their travel needs. Our records indicate that Excursions had spoken with **** **** on April 11, 2025 and April 14, ********************************************** both ******* and ***** for April *****, 2025 and was provided with options. In each instance **** **** wanted to speak with *** **** before proceeding, as of today, no reservation has been made. According to our records, prior to this complaint, *** and **** **** did not express any dissatisfaction or concerns with their membership. We would love nothing more than to assist *** and **** **** resolving any confusion or addressing any specific concerns.

I have included a copy of the signed document; it solidifies the fact that ***** and ****** **** understood the contractual three-day right to rescind policy when purchasing the membership with Excursions. This policy gives any and all members three business days, to express their change of heart in writing; return all materials, and thereby receive a full refund. By signing the document, ***** and ****** **** acknowledged further that they understood the terms and conditions of this contract were/are set forth and governed by the State of Missouri; please see enclosure. *** and **** ****** three business days allotted by the State of Missouri would have been, April 7th, April 8th, and April 9th, 2025 (excluding weekends and holidays).

Within the legally binding contract document, please notice the document titled "Terms and Conditions of Travel Membership What You Should Know about Your Excursions Membership," item 8. Mediation - Prior to the initiation of any complaint by member to any third party against Excursions or Distributor, and prior to initiation of any litigation, Member shall participate in good faith in at least three (3) hours of mandatory mediation in ***********. ******** with a mediator mutually selected by the parties. The costs of such mediation shall be shared equally by the parties. Any complaints or litigation initiated without first participating in the mandatory mediation shall be immediately withdrawn or dismissed and member shall bear all attorney fees and costs associated with obtaining such dismissal or withdrawal.

The filing of this complaint does not adhere to the terms and conditions of contract, nor does it allow Excursions the ability to resolve any issues that **** **** might feel are present. Nor has ***** and ****** **** given Excursions the opportunity to serve the membership in the manner that it is designed to work.

Unfortunately, I am not able to comply with any requested refund. I am certain that if *** and **** **** were to give Excursions a try, they will be able to see as well as enjoy the many benefits the program has to offer.

Should *** or **** **** wish to contact us, our customer service team is available for calls at **************, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 3:30 PM CST.

In the three photos sent on January 8, 2025 shows *********** and Priceline be*** cheaper than Excursions.
Excursion is false advertisement ***  say*** their price is $388 total and *********** Is $828 total. However, I went to *********** and the price is not $828 as posted on excursions website.. Its actually $409 on ***********. Pricelines cost is $312.
these prices were pulled up today just minutes apart from each other. Excursions Is false advertis*** and ly*** dur*** their presentations and sales.ing signing the papers, I mentioned a few times that I was signing against my will, that I was not interested in buying this. This so-called fabulous opportunity has not saved us a *****. During the presentation as they continued to push and hound my husband to buy we both had stated it would not save us money as we dont travel often. We were told to call reservations anytime 24/7, which we found to be a lie. We were lied to about the $99 quarterly payments. The wedsite is NOT always available 24/7. This program was bought under distress and hasnt saved us a *****, just as I countlessly said would happen during the sales pitch. All this company did was take advantage of us and take our money. And by chuckling at me the Reservations Manager who called made it clear my concerns and complaints were not valuable enough to take seriously. I told him I see how this company treats their customers and what they really think of them. REQUESTING A REFUND

The three photos attached were taken on January 8, 2025, comparing ***********, Priceline and Excursions prices.
On Excursions website it shows their price is $388 total and *********** is $828 total. However, I went to *********** and the price is NOT $828 as it shows on Excursions website, its $409 on *********** and $312 on Priceline. Priceline price is much better than Excursions price. The prices were searched today just minutes apart from each other. As shown in the photos the exact time and date. Excursions website appears to be falsely advertising prices of their competitors much higher than they truly are.

During the high Pressured sales pitch I pulled out my cell phone to look up reviews and to check their business on BBB. The sales *** immediately responded, I have them right here on my tablet, lets take at look.  Only showing us positive reviews, never showing any negative complaints or complaints on BBB.  Twice I pulled my phone out to research the company and the sales *** immediately would stop me. Now I know why he did not want us to see the truth about this company.
I also find it interesting that the website was not available to us until several days later. Is this to prevent buyers from looking up information and realizing the discounts arent what they preached about at the presentation and sales? If buyers knew the truth on what is actually available and the cost, they would never bought in and/or canceled the contract within the timeframe. Interesting that the 3 day timeframe to cancel is not spoken about during the sales or presentation.
They stated the website is available 24/7, This too, is an untrue statement. The sales *** even stated that the website is available 24/7. He also stated not to go to the website to contact them that they were available to assist us 24/7.  Weve only tried to use this program twice for a hotel room for one night. Both times have been unsuccessful. The first time the website would not let us get a room for one night. It was a 3 night minimum. The sales *** and Reservations told us we would be able to get a room for one night. Another entry statement made.
The second time we tried to use the website it showed up, not available. We even tried on several different devices and each time it said the website was no longer available. What they tell you during the presentation and sales is not what they actually deliver. Its nearly impossible to get resorts you want, only ran down timeshares. Airfare and car rentals are also a joke. There is no big savings with this program as the preach. The Reservation Manager who called me was heard by myself and my husband chuckling about my complaints and concerns. This company is not about looking out for their customers, its about taking their money and pocketing it.
They talk highly bad about timeshares, also trying to convince you to hand over your timeshares to them. Telling you that they are saving you the stress, headaches and thousands of dollars to not own a timeshare anymore. That we are just dumping money into maintenance fees. Also preaching how hard it is to get out of a timeshare. This business is worse than a TimeShare!

    Complaint: 22782222

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

During the high pressured sales pitch my husband and I said countless times No, No, No we didnt want to buy into this program. We told the *** (I believe *****) that we live on retirement. We explained to him that we financially cant afford it, did not have the money and dont travel much, when we do travel its near by and we take our RV. He said you can put it on a credit card and pay it off with a personal loan that has cheaper interest rates. He also stated, with all the savings this program will save us, we would be able to afford traveling anywhere and stay at nice places. I even said a couple different times during signing that I was signing against my will and that we wouldnt use this program. I have expressed all these concerns and complaints and more each time I have been on the phone with Excursions. The only reason why we hadnt said anything sooner is, we were told we were stuck in a contract. And on top of it all, my husband has been very ill for months and had an emergency heart surgery and I had two back surgeries along with a few other surgeries. Dealing with Excursions hadnt been on our minds as we both have been recovering.
Point is, Excursions used high pressured tactics on us to buy their product that is NOTHING Excursions promised to deliver. We expressed  countless times we didnt want to buy this product. We were pressured and harassed until we agreed to buy. I believe we were in the room for nearly four hours being pressured to buy. We are Requesting a Full Refund, including our quarterly fees, that have been paid.

    Sincerely,

    ****** *******

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:

Excursion has not spoke to me on the 10th or the 14th regarding any resolution or mediation. That is an untrue statement written by Excursions.

Under Missouri laws, if you were not informed verbally of your right to cancel, then you can void the time share travel contract. This is a common scam, and the Missouri laws are designed to protect you.
This is a HIGH PRESSURED presentation. I told them NO multiple times and they would not stop pressuring my husband and myself until one of us agreed to buy. I even told them during signing that I was signing against my will. We were not told verbally that we could cancel the contract in three days.
Requesting a full refund and all quarterly fees.

    Sincerely,

We are writing in response the complaints submitted by ******************** *** and Mrs. ******* filed two separate BBB complaints Case ******** and Case ********. We take all concerns seriously and would like to provide clarification and evidence regarding the claims made, as well as the steps we have taken to address them.

    1. Booking a Single Night: During a phone call in October, when Mrs. ******* resolved the missed dues payment, we informed them that they can book a single night.
    2. Account Access: The customer's inability to access our website was due to unpaid dues, as outlined in our terms and conditions. Once dues were resolved, access was restored.
    3. Pricing Transparency: On January 10, 2025, we explained to Mrs. ******* that our pricing includes all taxes and fees upfront. This approach differs from other platforms where fees are only displayed later in the booking process.
    4. Website and Reservation Information: Our website is available 24/7, and the hours of operation for our reservation department were communicated during the October and January phone calls.
    5. Mediation Efforts: As part of our resolution process, we have spoken to **************** multiple times, most recently on January 15, 2024, to schedule mediation as stipulated in the customers contract. Unfortunately, these efforts have not yet resulted in a resolution due to a lack of engagement from the customer.
    6. Contract and Cancellation Terms: The customer signed a contract explicitly stating that no duress or undue influence was applied during the purchase process. If Mrs. ******* had concerns about the membership, she could have canceled on the same day or within the three-business-day cancellation period provided by law (excluding weekends and holidays).
    7. Allegations Against Staff: Mrs. ******* has claimed that a reservations manager laughed at them during a phone call. We have reviewed recordings of the October, January 7, and January 10 conversations and found no evidence to support this claim.

We have made every effort to address *** and Mrs. ******** concerns through communication and trying to schedule mediation, but these complaints contain inaccurate information that misrepresents the facts. We remain committed to resolving the matter in a fair and professional manner, and we have encouraged *** and Mrs. ******* to engage in the mediation process as outlined in their contract.

We respectfully request that our response and evidence be considered in your review of this unresolved case and our now lowered rating due to it. Should you require any additional documentation or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We **** and ****** ******* do not agree or accept the response from Branson Excursions on our complaint and are still requesting a full refund.

On Oct 1, 2024 I received a call from Branson Excursions that my payment did not go through. A few weeks prior to this call our bank card was cancelled and re-issued due to it being compromised. At this time, I did bring up about requesting a refund. However, other things came up shortly after that conversation. First off, my husband had emergency heart surgery and I had 2 back surgeries. So making another call to Excursions was the last thing on my mind.

As I have already explained to two different people from Excursions, Ill explain once again. After the presentation, they brought my husband and I into a room. The gentleman who spoke with us for well over two hours would not stop pushing for us to buy. After repeated times of me saying I am not interested. I dont want to buy it. Even explaining we seldom travel and when we do we take our RV. I even stated repeatedly to the sales staff that he and this process is giving me so much anxiety, its making me ill. Instead of excepting No for an answer, he went and got the big guy to come convince my husband why we need to buy in on this opportunity that will save us thousands of dollars. Also giving us multiple reasons why we should buy it. Both men continued with their sales pitch as I continued to say No.  Instead of them accepting I was not interested they continued pressuring my husband, trying to get him to buy this so-called fabulous opportunity. Due to all the pressure from both men my husband agreed to buy in on this scam. Even during signing the papers, I mentioned a few times that I was signing against my will, that I was not interested in buying this. This so-called fabulous opportunity has not saved us a *****. Which I knew it wouldnt because I stated several times we would not get any use out of it. The first time my husband tried to use it to book a hotel room for one night we found out that it was a three nights minimum. The second and only other time we tried to use it was recently when we were going to *****. My husband and I tried to book a hotel room. For two days we could not get on their website. We tried on two cell phones, an iPad and our computer getting the same results that this website is no longer available. So in the last seven months, twice have we tried to get a hotel room for one night with no success. $6000 upfront to buy the scam and $99 every four months. I dont see the big savings! Like I said at the presentation when they continued to push and hound my husband to buy this fabulous opportunity, we both had stated it would not save us money as we dont travel often.

I also would like to point out during the sales pitch. We were also told they are available 24 seven on the website, but dont worry about the website. Just call them 24 seven and they can help.

We were also told that we could stop paying the $99 and walk away or we could come back and we just have to pay $99 to reinstate. However, I was told by the billing department we would be charged the quarters we skipped payments on. When I told this to the man that called on 01/07/2025, he stated that that was not so that we would only have to pay $99 to reinstate. I asked him if he would send that information to me via email. He told me to look at my contract that its in my contract, he never sent the information I requested.

    RE: BBB Case ID: ********                                                                                   ******** ****

We are in receipt of **** ***** complaint and offer the following.

*** and **** **** purchased a 5-year trial membership with Excursions on September 8, 2024. At the time of purchase, ****  **** signed a legally binding contract indicating they understood the terms and conditions of the travel membership.  I have included copies of ****  ***** contract for your viewing.

Our records indicate that **** **** spoke with Excursions on Sept 16, 2024 and was provided a quote for Portugals River of Gold cruise with Viking. This quote included savings of over $2,400.00. This cruise was not booked by **** ***** I have included the summary of that call for your viewing.

On October 15, 2024, post marked October 10, 2024, Excursions received the cancellation request from *** and **** **** citing they were unaware of the cancellation policy and the cruise quoted did not save them money. This was surprising as the cancellation policy in the contract was signed and the only cruise quoted did have savings.

I have included a copy of the signed document; it solidifies the fact that ***** and ******** **** understood the contractual three days right to rescind policy when purchasing the membership with Excursions. This policy gives any and all members three business days, to express their change of heart in writing; return all materials, and thereby receive a full ********* signing the document, ***** and ******** **** acknowledged further that they understood the terms and conditions of this contract were/are set forth and governed by the State of Missouri; please see enclosure. *** and **** *****s three business days allotted by the State of Missouri would have been, September 9th, September 10th,and September 11th, 2024 (excluding weekends and holidays).

Within the legally binding contract document, please notice the document titled Terms and Conditions of Travel Membership What You Should Know about Your Excursions Membership, item 8. Mediation - Prior to the initiation of any complaint by member to any third party against Excursions or Distributor, and prior to initiation of any litigation, Member shall participate in good faith in at least three (3) hours of mandatory mediation in ***********, ******** with a mediator mutually selected by the parties. The costs of such mediation shall be shared equally by the parties. Any complaints or litigation initiated without first participating in the mandatory mediation shall be immediately withdrawn or dismissed and member shall bear all attorney fees and costs associated with obtaining such dismissal or withdrawal.

Excursions would appreciate the opportunity to resolve any concerns that *** and **** **** may feel are present. If given the chance, Excursions will show **** **** the promised savings and how to best utilize the membership to its full potential.

The filing of this complaint does not adhere to the terms and conditions of contract, nor does it allow Excursions the ability to resolve any issues that **** **** might feel are present. Nor has ***** and ******** **** given Excursions the opportunity to serve the membership in the manner that it is designed to work.

Should ******** wish to contact us, our customer service team is available for calls at **************, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 3:30 PM CST.

    Respectfully,

    Excursions

We signed with Branson excursions but using their services cost more than what I could find on my own. The **** at the day we sat through their program said we could stay at ****** resorts or our Marriott resort but when I called I was told they are not associated with ******, very dissatisfied compared to what we were told.

On January 6, 2020, I wrote 2 checks in the amount of $3,750.00 to dissolve 2 timeshares. One in ********* (****************) and one in ******(****************). We had BOTH timeshares paid in full and had maintenance fees paid in full while we were using them.Family situations occurred, deaths, hurricane damage to home, our children cutting themselves off from us (was going to pass to them), and fears of traveling due to state of US affairs precipitated us to end our timeshares in ******* Mo. and joining Excursions. We never got to use Excursions either but the real issue was all that was done was writing letters to those companies for 4 years. The ***************** did finally cancel my timeshare after 2 1/2 years. The company in ****** sent our account to a collections agency and we are still receiving phone calls but no mailings. Mr. ************************* was writing the letters for us.

Felt pressured, not what they said plan was. Not able to get on sight to check out sight for 5 days. Called to cancel, and they said that there was a 3 day cancel period which we were NOT told!!!Tried to stop payment at bank level, it is in litigation with bank.EXCURSIONS called us to litigate with a person, they said that was going to cost more money to pay their litigate. Don't trust them! Waiting to hear from bank. **** said NOT to use their litigater. I see alot of complaints with BBB, and on their ****** sight.Savings that they said, are a fraction of what we were told. We were lied to and pressured, Excursions kept bringing in another person to drill us.We will be dead before we would ever make up $8895.00.Requested a refund.

Through Save on Branson, we received a 4-day 3-night vacation to *******, ** which included a meeting with Excursions, which we thought was a timeshare company. After much discussion, we feel we were basically forced to sign a contract for the purchase of a travel ************** from our 2 timeshares, which would eliminate our loan from our Wyndham credit card & no longer have to pay maintenance fees. This was not the case. After research, we found the company has done the same practice to many others. They do not operate in good faith, take advantage of people, & do not deliver what they say. We requested a refund, which they denied. We have a case with our credit card disputing the charges.
