Better Business Bureau is advising consumers to use caution when considering doing business with Excursions. BBB has received a pattern of consumer complaints alleging misleading sales presentations, consumers were unable to book reservations at different destinations, consumers found the prices of their vacations were more expensive than other vendors, failure to cancel timeshare contracts and poor customer service.
On December 29, 2022, BBB sent a letter to Excursions. On January 20, 2023, the company responded. The company states, “Excursions has strict policies and procedures in place to ensure the integrity of our salesmen and the protection of our members.” The company claims consumers are given a login to make sure they are given the full three-business day rescission period after signing up.
Consumer reservations are based on the availability of the property and Excursions adjusted their presentation to address this. They claim they will refer consumers to a third-party company to assist with their timeshare cancellation.
The company states they have trained their staff to address consumers’ concerns and phone calls are monitored and recorded.
