Got an in person estimate for wrapping a vehicle, all the labor involved with removing and re installing all lights and front/rear bumpers, fix approximately 10 dents with paint less dent removal , pin stripe on the car removed, window tint removal, and new window tint. The vehicle was present and the owner looked it over before setting the price at $3,980 and a timeline of 10 days. The car took 3 weeks to complete. He gave updates about how far along he had made progress but when i stopped by i found his claims to be false. He told me that he needed to wet sand the car for an additional $475 to get the surface prepped better which should have been included in the original price being that he saw what he was dealing with up front. We were told to pick up the car on 5-5 at 3 pm. When we were almost there he calked and said he forgot to wrap a few pieces of trim so it would be ready at 6 pm. That time did not work so it was agreed upon that my son would pick up the car on 5-6 at 10:30 am. When my son arrived to get his car it was not ready and took another 2 hours for them to finish the car. When my son paid the balance and brought the car home i was astounded at the horrible job they did. A few flaws were discussed between him and I over the phone and i stated that a couple tiny air bubbles would be acceptable as long as they were not visible more than a couple feet away. What we got was way more than a few tiny bubbles. There are huge bubbles everywhere, the wrap was cut short in numerous places, there are patch jobs all over the place, the bumpers, mirrors, lights, and some trim were never removed and wrapped like we were told, the pin stripe that was supposed to be removed can be seen through the new wrap down both sides the side of the car. Final bill was changed to $4,980.My son picked up the car and paid the balance so i did not see the car until it was at my house. A warranty was promised but at pickup time he refused to warranty his work & material
