I took a 2015 Macbook pro to this shop to be repaired. Another shop told me that they thought it was the hard drive. I took it to this shop, they told me it was the motherboard. They ordered a new motherboard. It's been a month now. I have been calling regularly, and the last time I spoke with them they said it would be around November 18 when the new motherboard in. Since then I have tried contacting them and they answering the phone. I'm not able to leave a message either. I paid them a fee to have the computer examined, approximately $60. I paid $1000 for the computer. The other shop said that the computer would need to be sent to Apple, and take about a week to be repaired, costing about $750. I need to get the computer back from ITechShark.Business response

We were last in contact with this customer on the 8th of December when we told him the repair would far exceed the value of the device and that he could pick up his computer at his convenience. Customer as of today (December 15th) was re contacted and he has now picked up his computer.Customer response

I traded in my Macbook Air for cash to itechshark but the device has MDM so itechshark shipped it back to me. However, the package was lost and itechshark filed a claim with FedEx. itechshark did not get back to me regarding the investigation result nor issue compensation for my lost Macbook Air.Customer response

On 11/14/20 I purchased an iPad Pro 10.5 for $379. I was told about the 12 month warranty if anything went wrong. Upon returning home, I noticed the lightning port was quite loose. It charged fine but the cord would fall off very easily. I am not sure when I called them but I spoke with one of the store representatives who reassured me that I could bring it in any time and that they would fix the port. The store is not close so I waited until I had a few hours to wait for it to get fixed (1 month ago). At the store, they checked out the port, confirmed the defect and said I would have to leave it for a few days. I couldn't do that so I brought it home but I was told to bring it back anytime. I went back on 6/11. When I didn't hear back I called them on 6/15. I was informed since it is charging and because loose ports are signs of misuse, they wont fix it. I informed them that it was purchased that way. They also accused me of waiting until the last month of warranty (not true)Business response

We spoke to the customer this week about resolving the issue. We are very serious about making sure that our customers have the best experience possible.
The options that we gave the customer were the following:
1. Return the device and refund the customer.
2. Replace the device with the same exact model.
3. Return the device/upgrade the device to something newer(if there is a price difference we would have the customer pay the difference between the two devices).
*** **** was satisfied with the options we gave and decided against retuning/replacing the device. I told *** **** that if he changes his mind during the 1 year warranty period we are more than happy to utilize one of the three options listed above as long as the device isnt water damaged/broken(other than the loose chargeport).
