On July 31, 2023, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326b.082, subd. 11 (b)(1(8)(9) and 326B.84 (2)(4)(15) (2022). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to revocation of their residential building contractor license and the qualifying builder license for the business owner, John Sharkey and to cease and desist from acting as a residential building contractor, remodeler or roofer in Minnesota. The business also agreed to fully cooperate with customers attempts to seek compensation from the Contractor Recovery Fund and to a $20,000.00 fine, which is stayed contingent on the business's full compliance with the terms of the Order and compliance with all laws, rules and orders under DLI authority.
