Had used their service for dryer vents cleaning along with air duct, furnace and AC cleaning on a property that I rented out to tenants. Was informed about 2% charge for credit card and agreed to pay via check which they wanted right away because it was COD service. I was not told about it and asked if I can get an invoice for their service so that I can mail them a check. They insisted that I should give them credit card on the file in case I forgot to mail them a check which was reasonable. I requested to send me the invoice but they were saying it is not their policy to send an invoice and lady that I was speaking to was rude and unprofessional. She would not listen and hung on me twice. Got another person on the line who was cordial but kept on insisting of having credit card info, without invoice, because it is their policy. Haven't any seen business, within US, asking for payment without an invoice. Looks shady to me and wondering if they even rendered any service for which I am being charged $300. Yet to confirm with tenants if they rendered the service. Unprofessional attitude of the lady and unreasonable request of getting paid without invoice seems like they are shirking on the taxes to be paid to US government. Please be aware of this business and ensure payment terms are clear before engaging them

Homeplace payment policy is to collect upon completion of the service and we do not bill out invoicing. This individual had us service a rental property and no payment was provided. Upon completion, the technician contacted the owner and said he would only make payment if he was billed. It was explained to him at least 6 times that we do not bill out invoices and he felt we should change our 30 policy just for him. He became abusive to the office mgr over the phone to a point he could be heard 15 feet away. So she did hang up on him after he became hostile even though she carefully explained multiple times that we did not have his invoice in the office, since the servicing tech was still in the field working. So we agreed to accept his out of State check, but we needed a credit card to hold until his check was received. After which time the credit card information would be destroyed. Again, he became hostile, but finally agreed to our policy, but said he would give Homeplace a bad rating. He was sent a copy of his invoice, payment was received and his credit card information was destroyed as promised. All of this was very unnecessary and in our 32 years, this is the first person to create such needless and hateful conflict over this policy.
