      I have had multiple issues with this company. I am a current resident at their ******* establishment in downtown *****. To name a few of the issues - homeless people breaking in, cockroaches, illegally towing my car, unfulfilled work orders, etc. When making any complaints, I am simply told that there is nothing Elevate can/will do and if I want to break my lease, I need to pay two months of rent up front.

      Elevate kept $120 of our security deposit for what they called BASIC carpet cleaning. Our lease states there is no charge for basic cleaning only if stains etc. require it. Which our exit video shows none. They created several bogus issues which we continued to prove wrong

      The elevators have been broken in our complex for weeks at a time and this is a recurring issues. People get stuck in the elevators and it makes living here for people with disabilities impossible (which is illegal) and also there is no signs of them taking action to fix these issues.

      I was given a lease termination notice out of nowhere. Ive tried contacting elevate living multiple times via call and email and no one will talk to me and I dont know why Im being evicted

      It has been over a week and we are without light in our bathroom after submitting a maintenance request to fix the bathroom light, we were told that they didn't have the correct light bulb and would need to order one and it should only take two to three days for the bulb to come in, it has now been over a week. We went to the main office to ask about the light because no one ever answers the phone, so when we went to the office three days ago they said they had just received the light bulb that day and would be sending someone that day to finish putting the light in. It has now been over a week without light in the bathroom, we don't even have a window in the bathroom for daylight. We went to the office today and no one was there, we called and left a voicemail asking when the light was going to be fixed and we're told that they don't even have the light bulb yet, even though it's been over a week since the maintenance man put the order in, we asked how much longer we will be without light in the bathroom and they couldn't give us an estimated amount of time, the lady named ***** ended up hanging up on us when we tried to explain that the paint man had texted with the lady in the main office three days ago when we went in to ask about it telling her he had just received the bulb that day and would be by to fix it that day.

      Unjust Charges After Move-Out: After I paid everything, they charged me an additional $208 for supposed damages, despite leaving the apartment in the same condition I received it. Moreover, to this day, I still havent received my security deposit back.

      I was not informed of the date of the move out inspection so I was not able to see what was observed by their agent. I am being charged for damages that were incurred by their employee (who said he would return to repair the following day) but because he didn't report the damage on his paperwork and I didn't file a workorder, (why would I, he said he would be back), I am being billed for his damages. They claim "pet urine" but will not tell me where the supposed pet urine was located. My pets never had an accident in the 4 years we lived there. They claim that the carpet was installed 3 months before we moved in so they are calculating the damages based on that but the carpet was very stretched, loose and worn. There is no way that it was only a few months old. I believe they are trying to put the cost burden on us to replace carpeting that was well worn before we moved in. I have requested documentation to support their damage claims and have received nothing other than an email telling me that being invited to a move out inspection is not guaranteed and wouldn't matter anyway because they don't accept verbal complaints. I accept some of the damages listed on their inspection report. There were some nail holes that were not filled and paint was chipped in the spare bedroom. I do not believe that I should have to pay for them to install new carpet.

      My packages are being held in the Amazon prime lockers, even if they are not ******. So I cannot get them. This is illegal. No property management to help. Ive called dozens of times for other problems and no one returns my call. Ive been a loyal tenant for several years. If I do not hear from someone with this company, I may need to seek other living arrangements.

      The company is charging me for damages to the apartment I did not cause. When I asked for a copy of the move in check list I competed at the start of the lease they are saying to do not have it. When I disputed the charges they are saying after they looked into it I still owe and if I dont pay they will take me to collections. When I try to pay on their site it does not allow me to pay. They do not have a phone number to reach anyone and they are saying if I dont pay the same day they close the dispute they are reporting me to collections. This was yesterday; and they do not respond to emails.

      I received emails that my lease for apartment 69 and my daughters lease for apartment 71 are ready for me to sign on their site but I cannot access them on their site or app. Ive left multiple voicemails with them, have emailed and texted them multiple times and no one has tried to contact me back. Ive even gone to their office but the doors are locked with no one around. If I dont get this signed, well have to go month to month which is higher rent or have to move, which we dont want to do at the moment. Please help me.
