      In April 2025, I contacted **** Sorenson for tree removal. We had used him in the past with no problems noted and services delivered on time. This time he came out to bid the job the same week as my call. He asked for a $500 deposit, stating that would cover disposal of the trees removed. Since that time he has repeatedly promised, he would have his employees come out to complete the job.On one occasion, he actually said that his crew was nearby and would be at my house right after they completed the job they were on. They never showed up. When I sent a text to him asking about it he never responded.Finally, seven months after his initial visit, I sent him a text telling him that I needed my $500 deposit back and I would find a company that could do the job. I have heard nothing in response.This has been the most frustrating business experience Ive ever had.

      Sorenson does not back up their work. Besides tree service, they had a division that did concrete work. A year and a half ago, they installed a patio for me. After the snow melted I discovered that the concrete was falling apart. It continues to get worse each day. I have left numerous messages for the owner, Mike, indicating I would like to discuss the issue and try to resolve the problem. He has not returned any of my phone calls. At this point I have no option but to take him to conciliation court. Under the circumstances it will be next year before I can have the patio repaired due to contractors being booked?.
