      I have worked for ComForCare for 5+ years under **** management. I always enjoyed coming to work to serve their clients and I have very strong relationships with my clients and their families. Under *************** I always felt heard and supported. I always found great excitement stopping in the office to see *** and the rest of management. However, the company was sold and ComForcare is now under new management. Management will not listen to your concerns and they are extremely inconsiderate often lacking accountability. When approached with my concerns in writing, I was simply ignored. I strongly advise that if you are compassionate about your job, you find another place to work. Management can definitely make or break your job. As a caregiver we are there to help support client and their families however, poor management can make this extremely hard. If you can not adequately and appropriately address your staff, this will very quickly lead to burnout. Consider yourself warned.

      Challenges arise through ownership changes. Although we attempted to provide as little disruption to our clients and team members, there are times when personality, culture change or adjustments to operations can cause some difficulty. We attempted to accommodate the team as much as possible but when there is resistance to change, often times that results in dissatisfaction. We understand this and apologize to the team member who felt unheard. We attempted to resolve the issue directly but received no responses. We appreciate all our team members and the work they do for seniors and their families. It is a difficult line of work with a large shortage of caregivers to serve the clients. We do everything in our power to make sure our team members are heard.
