To begin, it is important to note that this was an online transaction from a physical store via Uber eats Inc.The issue in short is that the business listed is using unethical/illegal business practices. How?The business(restaurant) has multiple chains around the *********** And as such they are available on uber Eats for delivery. Now, to drive further revenue what they are doing is posing themselves as different restaurants on uber eats with a different name and pictures of food they don't even make or sell. They literally post attractive and falsified food photos on these duplicate restaurant pages to lure customers into ordering from them, all the while making the customer think that they are ordering from another restaurant. It would be unfair to blame India Palace alone. Although they are one of the orchestrators of this illicit business practice, i am sure there are others and to make it worse, i believe Uber is complicit in this. The purpose of this complaint is to alert you so that appropriate measures are taken in order to avoid others face the experience me and my friends have faced. For your research purposes:I ordered from a restaurant on uber eats called Biryani factory which was actually delivering from the nearby india palace. You might want to check this restaurant out and compare its menu with that of India Palace to actually see whats happening.No matter how you see it, this practice is misleading, unethical and falsified! Designed to deceive consumers to increase revenue. This deserve to be punished or abolished. Thank you.
