  The response from the business is in itself unsatisfactory. It was in my review that they sent someone out already to "fix" the problem and did not.

  Something happened to this company, just a few years ago they were far better. I wanted a new two handled kitchen faucet installed and really wish I had just done that but thought a new kitchen sink would be nice too. The plumber, and later, the “Master” plumber who came were both less knowledgeable then myself. I never should have let the plumber to do the work unsupervised by me.
  My kitchen counter was cut into and ruined. It compromised the cupboards below due to the fact that it’s an old build and the sink and counter tie in directly to the lower cabinets and drawers. Had I known a non-professional was going to do the job I never would’ve hired Metro Plumbing of Maplewood and gone elsewhere. My check for the job was cashed BEFORE the job was done. The faucet installed was nothing like the one I selected. The owner yelled at me on the phone for calling to talk about the problems. There was a charge included to raise the standpipe due the differing height of the sink installed and the “Master” plumber said ‘no it doesn’t need to be raised’. That was a lie and now the sink drains slowly, the counter can literally be pulled up by hand, and every time I use the sink I’m angry.
  I would have been FAR better off buying a faucet I liked and installing it on the original sink myself. I DO know how to do that. And I would trust myself to do it better than Metro Plumbing of Maplewood.
  I will never trust that business again.

  Poor service follow up. I purchased a furnace from them several years ago and it is not working and is still under warranty, but they will not honor the warranty.
  I have called several times and still nothing. I have purchased several furnaces and boilers from them and the follow up service is awful. I have even tried to talk to the owner and he will not call back. Bad service

  Our hot water heater went out on Friday. First thing Monday I called around to several companies. When I called Metro Heating and Cooling, the person who answered the phone asked if I could send a picture. She said the estimator Matt was out of the office and would contact as soon as he came in. During this time, I called other businesses for estimates. When Matt called me about one hour later, he said he reviewed the photos and provided and estimate and it as among the lowest. He said they could have it installed the next day. Great. On Tuesday, Austin showed up on time. He was organized and clearly knew what he was doing. With in a very short time the old heater was drained and out. The new heater was delivered and Austin had it installed. Yes we did have hot water immdedatley. I was very impressed with the customer service from the time I called to Matt and Austin's installation. Other companies can learn from their service, organization, and general operation. I only regret it will be many years until I call them again. Great experience!!!

  Metro recently replaced my hot water heater. Their bid was much lower than several of the large outfits in the area. Austin did a great job of explaining everything and making himself available for questions. I am very happy with the work and value. Thanks!

  I have used Metro a number of times over the years for both big jobs and small. I have been very happy with the work they do and with the people they send to do the job. When Philip and Mark arrived at my house recently for a very small project, I was in the middle of a plumbing emergency. They immediately volunteered to take a look at the problem. They got me in touch with the plumbing department and Shane arrived soon after. Shane kept me informed his findings, showed me the problem, answered my questions, fixed the problem, and made recommendations for preventing the problem in the future. I was very happy with the service I received. Thank you!

  I have been using Metro Heating and Cooling for years! They are honest, reliable, affordable and friendly. Brian has been to my house several years in a row to do my furnace and A/C tune ups. He always arrives with a smile and explains everything completely. I truly believe he has saved me money on repairs by doing yearly checks. I would not use another company!!
  Erica is always very pleasant when I call and responds to email questions very quickly.

  Cameron was very professional and pleasant to talk to. He installed the new toilet and while doing so, I had the chance to ask him about my water softener. It is probably the source of bad? quality of my well water. Because of that conversation, I will be looking at replacing my “old” softener. I did appreciate the way he explained things. A very satisfied customer.
