I refinanced my car loan through Genisys in 2021. After jumping through their hoops and false promises they barely lowered my payment even thought my score was up over 200pts from when I bought the car originally. They took advantage of me in that same year when our office was shut down due to covid, and refused any assistance. I became unemployed for a brief time in 2022, and the car was repossessed, over $3500 out of pocket to recoup the car, even though I had already agreed to a payment plan, they still continued to call me non stop. I ended up gainfully employed and besides the "unable to locate account" issue had been on the right track. November of 2022, I was rear ended by a teen driver and the car was in the shop being repaired for three months, still paying over four hundred a month for a 2017. After the car was retrieved there had been a multiple amount of problems, the seat belt still was not working, the motor was leaking oil, and loss of power from the motor. Come to find out this was a manufactures defect. Due to the accident and inflation, my car insurance sky rocketed.They refused for me to lower the coverage. I had Direct Deposit from my check every month to the account, not ONCE did I receive a call. The rude manager called to tell me that I defaulted and my car was up for repo, an I had no options, as I had payment reminder. I reminded her the car was not drivable for 7 months an I have not received a call. she told me I was out of luck and to find another bank. She was so unprofessional and gross in her behavior and I would never want t do business with them again. Over $9,215 later in repairs, my account if frozen and the car is up for repo, AND the money is in my account with them. This is unacceptable.
