We got an estimate for windows for our house being remodeled. The estimator showed us pictures of warped window frames from vinyl product and claimed RBA had NO VINYL. This is important in our Arizona heat and we wanted no vinyl. We did further research to learn that their window frames are actually 80% vinyl in their FIBREX product. That was when we cancelled our contract- 2 days after the measurements were done. We were told by the estimator that it would be a 3-4 months wait and the measuring guy said 2-3 months. BUT they claimed our windows were already done when we cancelled. SO they lied to us again, either way the timing was wrong. Now they are refusing to refund our deposit for their wrongly represented product- 80% vinyl. Also we have heard there are problems with the size of their frames. More lies!!

Thank you for your review. Our Fibrex windows are a blend of 40% wood fiber by weight, mostly reclaimed from manufacturing processes, with 60% thermoplastic polymer by weight. This composite retains its stability and rigidity in all climates. We're sorry to hear about the issues you've had with your local team. We will pass your review along to our team to review and look into further.

No stars!!!! Anderson started our install on November 11th 2024, bear in mind this was only 1 door going from a slider to a french door. The job was finally finished on March 13 2025. I told them we wanted $5000 compensation. I told them this after they were done and we were without the use of a door for 4.5 months. Bear in mind I offered to pay them $10,000 no financing the next day so they would get some of their money but they said no. I wanted $5000 forgiven we have still not signed the complete job order. The way the job order is written that we would acknowledge we were completely satisfied and then the financing would start which would be one year same as cash. We are not satisfied, 4.5 months without the use of a door, never knew if it would lock of not, and the inconvenience of multiple visits by their installers until they decided we needed a new lock set,.The one they brought with them the day of the install would not work so we went 7 weeks
with an allen wrench for a handle on the inside and tape covering the hole on the outside. These people do not understand inconvenience. they had to replace the door as the whole this warped while they were waiting for parts. I am not a dead beat I own my own business and if I treated my customers the insulting way they treated us then I would have no customers. they got an offer from us which we believe is fair, but now they will spend that money taking us to court

I should have read all these complaints before calling in RBA to install 3 windows in my condo! I will refrain from giving you the whole story since it is a repeat of some of the circumstances that I have already read here! They could not be trusted and after raising ‘holy you know what’ I was able to get my deposit back and get out of the contract! DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY…THEY HAVE SMOOTH TALKING SALESMEN THAT DONT CARE TO LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER AND ARE INTERESTED IN ONLY MAKING A SALE…no matter what it costs the customer!!!

If I could give this company a zero, I would. Steve, the salesman, lied to us about our window installations being "very clean." He lied about being a man of God. Men of God tell the truth. He lied about being at our home on installation day to make sure all went well. He never showed up. He didn't care about us. He wanted our money. The installers left a huge mess that we had to clean up. I took several pictures for proof. They didn't even offer to clean up inside our home. I was sick with the flu and was cleaning up their messes!! One of the installers was very disrespectful. Eric came into our house like he owned it and had his phone volume turned way too loudly. The noise coming from it was distracting and bothered me. I was in another room resting and trying to watch a show on my computer to help me forget about how badly I felt. I could hear the noise with my door shut!! My husband asked Eric nicely twice to turn it down. Eric did it again a third time!! I made sure to get his name to report his behavior. I have been through communications with support, a project manager, and a general manager. Based on the general manager's communications with me, his responses were uncaring as though what happened wasn't a big deal. All he offered me was lame excuses and empty apologies. I was asked by the project manager if there was anything he could do. I told him they could install our two remaining windows as an offering to fix what has happened. He sent my communications to the general manager, and nothing has been offered to us to remedy what their employees have put us through. This company lacks customer service skills, and they hire employees who are dishonest and disrespectful. They care most about getting your money and charging high prices. That is their ultimate goal. This company cannot be trusted. They don't keep their word, and they could care less about their customers.

I had met with the salesman on a project of three window replacement. With the promotion going on the sales person offered the fourth window for a really good deal. Unfortunately the sale and project went downhill from there. The windows were not what I expected from the sales person and the one single window stands out like a soar thumb. After discussing the situation with many including corporate never taking any blame for the situation they wash their hands of it through some non truth and tell me that I need to accept what it is. Never will I refer them or work with them on any future projects. Every conversation with them should be backed up in writing even if the sales person seems honest.

I have had a terrible experience with this company regarding the installation of my front entry doors. The doors arrived without the proper door handles - despite the door with these handles having been ordered months before - so a temporary knob was put on. Someone came back some weeks later to install the correct handle and didn't have the right parts. He came back another time and installed the correct handle incorrectly (it fell off when my husband touched it). This person came back to fix (install correctly) the handle and didn't have the right parts. He placed the handle back on the front door insecurely and a few days later it again fell off when someone touched it. I'm not sure if the tech knew (both times) that the handle was improperly installed and didn't care or didn't know how to properly install it, but both of these scenarios are unacceptable in my opinion.
After the handle fell off the second time, I called to ask for someone to come and put a temporary replacement on. I was told someone would come in three days. I had a hole in my front door (due to the poor quality of the company) and was told to just wait for three days despite the safety concerns I had for myself and my children and the night temperatures during that time reaching below 20 degrees. I asked multiple times to speak with a manager and was told someone would reach out to me. Almost a week later, no one has. I reached out to my sales rep and got no answer and there was no voicemail setup for me to leave a message.
I chose to use Renewal by Andersen (which is quite a bit more expensive than many other companies) expecting great quality and service, and to date have not received either. I am very disappointed that this company is satisfied with less than satisfactory work and that the safety of myself and my family seem to be of no concern to the company.

We setup an install and paid deposit on 9/28/2024. I’m in my late 60’s and husband was 81 and not in good health. He wanted to get the window replaced for me. They came and measured a few times and install date of 12/6/2024. They called us to tell us shortly before the install date the window is incorrect size and could not be done as promised. Now they have set a date for late January. We want to cancel the install but they will not. Since then my husband has passed away and now I have a house that is set for work and no drapery. We cannot have family and friends to the house since it was setup for work. We asked for a refund to cancel. I wish this would just be refunded so I can move on.

Bought a full set of 13 windows and 2 new doors for my home. I also purchased trim kits for all 13 windows that were being replaced.
The price Renewal by Andersen quoted for the project was more than double of quotes I had received from other companies. However, I had heard that Renewal by Andersen was top notch and their windows were excellent. The quote also contained the window trim kits that the other quotes did not have. I figured why not, spend the extra money and get it done right.
It was a mistake. Quality issues left and right. gaps between the new trim and the wall, between trim pieces, scratches everywhere, an overall eye sore to look at.
They did replace the components that were scratched even though it took over six months to do so. The windows and doors are also functional. These are the only two things I would consider a job well done by Renewal by Andersen.
DO NOT PURCHASE the trim kits from this company. They will do a horrible job and leave you with an eyesore as they did with me. When I contacted them about this quality issue, they said it was "within their acceptance criteria". I was offered $250 compensation for the inconveniences on a project that was over $40,000.
Their installation crew are clearly not trained like the sales person says they are and the final product shows.

Really shady pushy sales tactics. After I signed the contract I texted sales person about wanting to change something in my order and I essentially got a “no” answer but when I questioned him as to why because the window was not a special order, he just never answered my texts. After, I had another issue and spoke with the construction manager who stated that he would make some calls and “straighten everything out” and once again never called me back. Oddly I thought it was funny they did that given mentioning to me to make sure I leave a 5 star review because it affects their pay. The installers were clean and polite and I have had no problems with the windows (it’s been one month) but the company is a slick overpriced sales machine. Real customer service is not in their playbook.
