On 11/20/23 Dano's Chimney Sweep was scheduled for appointment at residence and was not seen at site. Business claimed they were at site and tried calling owner and ringing doorbell. Both did not work per the business. Dano's Chimney Sweep entered the wrong phone number to call the house owner to notify that service is at the door. Owner was charged with a missed appointment due to error on business for entering the call back number wrong and business claimed no one was home when in fact there was an individual waiting for business to show up for appointment. House owner later notified that they had to reschedule appointment but no mention of a missed appointment charge despite the business mistake of taking the phone number down wrong. They do have it posted in an email before the appointment about a missed appointment fee but no mention of the cost.When appointment was set up months in advance and home owner gave call back number the business secretary repeated phone number back incorrectly and was corrected by homeowner multiple times before end of call. No reminder was texted to homeowner per their policy because the wrong number was entered. They could not get a hold of owner because the number was wrong. Business asking for missed appointment payment even though they made a mistake on my number. I have called multiple times to resolve issue and they won't call me back or answer my calls. When I have set up an appointment in the past it also took 2-3 calls for them to answer. They answered one of my many calls and said it was their policy to charge for a missed appointment but it never would have been missed if they called and used the door ****, they won't even answer about which door they used to notify individual inside of the house. They only missed calling because of the wrong phone number on their end, never called to confirm appointment either. Appointment was rescheduled for 11/22/23 and services were provided based on what was asked.
