  Back in August of 2002 Gates General Contractors put in all new windows, siding and roofing on our home. We were very satisfied with the timeliness and workmanship. Now 21 years later we had a small leak in our skylight. I called Gates to have them come take a look at our leak. I personally went on the roof with Gates and while looking at the skylight we discovered the skylight came from the factory with a flange installed in the wrong overlap direction. At this point the only way to correct the issue would be to put in a new skylight. Gates said, my roof looked in good condition and recommended they just try to reseal the skylight window instead of pushing a new skylight and roof. With all of that said, Gates didn’t charge me for the repair which was totally unexpected. I appreciate Gates honesty and integrity not to try and push a sale on a perfectly good roof. When I need my roof replaced I will be calling Gates.

  I recently met ***** Gates on a day when an insurance adjuster was to evaluate roof storm damage. ***** and the adjuster went on the roof evaluated the damage and as it turned out the damage was minimal. ***** advised me to withdraw the claim and then proceeded to make the repairs himself. Working with insurance adjusters can be rather stressful but ***** made the entire process simple and easy. I am very impressed with ***** Gates and look forward to working with him on future projects.

  Met with Gates Contractors concerning a new roof due to hail damage. With my busy schedule, they went out of their way to meet with me on my schedule, which isn't easy. From the start, they were very professional and provided the insurance company exactly what they needed and dealt with all their questions and concerns. I highly recommend them to anyone needing the same services.

  Gates General Contractors completed an entire home exterior replacement on our home in **************. Every element from a new roof, siding, gutters, fascia, soffit and even front shutters were replaced. The quality of the work was outstanding and the level of detail his crews showed for the little details was great. My wife and I are particular about our home (older home - built ****) and changed the color combination with our insurance claim. We couldn't be happier with the final result and the great communication, quality of work and process in dealing with ***** and Gates General Contractors. I highly recommend them for a project.

  I can't say enough good things about Gates. When the May hail storm blew through, we needed a new roof. I got the insurance worked out and called *****. He came on a Monday and looked at my house. He called Wednesday and said they would be dropping off materials and dumpster on Friday morning and the crew would be there in the afternoon to get started. Friday afternoon they had the old roof off and the roof dried in. Saturday morning, they were there bright and early to start shingling. They were done and cleaned up by late afternoon. The dumpster was gone by the time I woke up on Monday morning. He had a crew of 10 to 12 worker that were very respectful of the landscaping and outdoor items. Because we have a pool out back, we were concerned about nails, they did an excellent job cleaning up. The entire job, from initial contact to finish was a week! ***** and the crew did not disappoint in fact, they far exceeded my expectations.
