  My dog went into labor at home. Xray showed she has 3 puppies. However, the first puppy was stuck for a good hour before my husband rushed her to the *** Upon arrival, he was told this breed would need a c section done, not induction. The vet bill for a c-section and other treatments were paid upfront. In summary, induction was done with ******** being administered 3 times. Our dog's labor went on for over 7 hours from the time we dropped her off to the time we picked her up. The first puppy didnt make it possibly from being stuck too long with facial abnormality, second puppy came out with low temp, and the third puppy was stillborn. C-section was never performed. Vet mentioned C-section is dangerous to the puppies and had our dog had this done, all puppies would have died or had a lower survival rate. The vet was also super confident two of the three puppies had already died in utero; therefore, the outcome of a c-section wouldnt be any better when initially she wasnt sure if there was another heart beat she missed during the FAST scan. Again, the vet stands firm to her idea that the plan never changed because it was always her intention to have c section done but because our dog delivered the first puppy naturally, it was a very good thing, and the vet wanted to see if she could deliver the last ones on her own. She stated the surgeon was on board with her recommendation. I will be asking for a second opinion. Had I known they werent going to perform a c-section, I would have taken my dog elsewhere. Maybe this would have given us a better chance at saving the puppies.

  This place is all about the money.... the veterinarians do not have a heart. My cat had a urethral blockage, so the vet at the ************ location did the unblocking but I had to transport my cat to the Oakdale location for 24 hour care. That ended up being 48 hours care and he was still blocked, I was told they would need to unblock him again and I would have to pay a other $1000 dollars, I told them I couldn't afford to do that and then pay for the 24 hour aftercare, they said if I didn't pay he should be put down because he is in pain. So they said they would give me some time to think it over, they called several times within an hour... how is someone supposed to make a life or death decision for a cat within an hour?? He ended up being put down because I couldn't pay to get him unblocked again....the bill is already over $3000.

  Been waiting 3+ weeks for a simple lab test results ... made 20+ calls and they never answer the phone ... sent 3 emails over a one week period and they never respond. They just dont seem to care. *********** is great but the administrative staff is terrible.
