Refund and Exchange Policy
TERMS:

Payments can be made in cash or credit card. Payments made with cash or check will receive a 2% discount. A deposit of $200 is required for confirmation and booking of the event date. THE CLIENT'S deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. This contract applies to the floral selections described on the event quote that was provided after the first consultation. The balance is due three weeks prior to the event date. If the event is booked less than three weeks prior to date then entire amount is due upon booking. Additions will be accepted up to two weeks prior to the event date, some exceptions apply. No guarantee is given that the same flowers will be available on orders made less than two weeks prior to the event. Color and style will match as close as possible.



CONSULTATION AND COMMUNICATION:

The first consultation and final consultation is free and each last for one hour. An additional consult is available for $25 an hour, with a minimum of one hour. If items or communication is relayed via email or phone there are no fees. If there are any consultation fees accumulated, they will need to be paid for before the flowers are delivered. Please do not hesitate to voice all your questions and/or concerns. Communication is very important. Please keep Laine Moire up to date with any changes to your event plans and your flower order, and schedule a final consultation with Laine Moire approximately three weeks prior to your event.



CANCELLATIONS:

THE CLIENT understands this is a custom order. THE CLIENT also understands if payment is not made in full 21 days prior to the event date, this contract is canceled and all payments are forfeited. Contract cancellation must be made in writing or by email. Contract cancellations made before final payment, will receive a refund of monies paid, less non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made less than three weeks prior to the event date will receive NO refund.



SUBSTITUTIONS:

We reserve the right to make substitutions in the event the flowers received are not of the quality suitable for your event. The guarantee for your flowers is as follows: Laine Moire will write up a quote for you in detail listing all your preferred flowers and requests. These requests will be our first priority. Please note that due to weather, pests, other issues beyond our control, some flowers are not available when they typically should be and/or are not acceptable quality to use. In this event, Laine Moire will use discretion and substitute flowers. The integrity of the proposed color scheme and design will be maintained and flowers of equivalent or value will be used. Example: Wax flowers ordered as a filler flower for bouquets but weather conditions cause unavailability or poor quality. Pink heather or similar filler would be used. Red roses would NOT be substituted for white orchids.



CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER:

For changes made more than three weeks before your event: we will adjust your final payment amount to reflect those changes. If you are removing items from your order, and have already made your final payment, then we will issue you a refund for the difference. If you are removing items from the original order, you may be responsible for the cost of specialty items specifically for your event that Laine Moire has already purchased. For changes three weeks or less before your event: There is not a refund for items removed from your order. Laine Moire will apply the dollar amount and/or flowers already ordered for any items removed towards something else for your event. You are however able to add additional needs right up to the event date as long as they are reasonable. Reasonable requests include: additional boutonnieres, centerpieces, corsages, and the like. We reserve the right to determine which requests are reasonable on a case-by-case basis.



RENTALS:

Unless otherwise noted, prices include a 7-day rental. All items must be picked up from our studio in Minnetonka unless otherwise agreed upon. All items must also be returned to this location within 7 days of pick-up/delivery. Items must be picked up and returned within our normal business hours (10am-4pm). Full payment is required prior to pickup/delivery. If all rented items are returned in good, undamaged condition, rental deposit will be refunded within 10 business days. All original packaging material, boxes, bins, etc. must also be returned with rented goods. A fee of $20 per box/bin will be added to your bill/subtracted from rental deposit for any missing bins/boxes.



EXCLUSIVITY:

It is understood that Laine Moire will act as the sole and exclusive florist for your event. By signing this contract THE CLIENT agrees that no other person or company, professional or otherwise, shall provide fresh or artificial floral products for THE CLIENT'S event location or event reception without the consent of Laine Moire. This clause protects the image of Laine Moire from assumption that might occur from event attendees. Some exceptions might apply; inquire with Laine Moire.



DELIVERY, SET UP, AND PICK UP:

In most instances, delivery and set up of your centerpieces, cake flowers, reception décor, and ceremony décor, as well as pick up of rentals, is not included in the price of your flowers. We will discuss the possibility of fees for these services with you, and will determine any fees on a case-by-case basis.



ADDITIONAL SERVICES THAT MAY REQUIRE A FEE:

Placement of runners and table linens, putting votives and tea lights on tables, lighting candles, pinning on corsages and boutonnieres, moving décor or vases from the ceremony to the reception, etc, may require an additional fee. We reserve the right to determine fees for these and other services on a case-by-case basis, and will discuss any fees with you.



EVENT GUIDE:

In the event that THE CLIENT will not be available during flower delivery THE CLIENT will be responsible for having a designated person meet the florist at the location of drop off. This is to ensure that all items are delivered and accounted for. If there is any set up on the part Laine Moire, it is THE CLIENT'S responsibility with the event location(s') coordinator as to what is acceptable, for example, candles, vases, etc. The person delivering the flowers will NOT be held accountable for any damages that may occur if there is not a designated person to sign for and accept delivery. We are not responsible for incorrect delivery times or locations given to us by THE CLIENT.
