I had my wages garnished against my will after disputing the amount that was owed to this creditor. They were unwilling to work with me at all and wouldn't take any amount as settlement. I then received a letter from them stating that there was a Satisfaction of Judgement and I also received a notice stating that the garnishments had been satisfied and would stop. Now I have received a letter from this debtor stating that I still have an outstanding balance of $21.10 and it will accrue interest if not paid. I am not willing to pay any more money to these crooks and I am done being harassed by these bullies. I won't pay that amount now or in the future and I don't want to be contacted ever again by this company. I am not the only one that they have robbed and bullied by the looks of things and what I have read. They need to be stopped. My court number for this is 25SC47 in *********.Business Response

These people claim to be a collections agency. Yet when I called them to pay them in full, they told me that they can't process electronic payments. But they have no truoble taking money out of my bank account when I'm not wanting to pay them. It seems to me they just want to delay me paying them so that they can charge me more.Business Response

I am writing to file a formal complaint against Masareli Kramer **************** regarding their improper garnishment practices and their failure to release funds after I filed an exemption. On [date], $5,689 was garnished from my bank account without the legally required forms and notifications being provided, which prevented me from filing for exemptions before the garnishment occurred.Under Minnesota law, Minn. Stat. *******, creditors must serve proper notice and necessary forms to allow individuals to claim exemptions. In my case, I was denied this opportunity, leading to the wrongful garnishment of funds that are legally exempt, including:1. Earnings from government benefits such as energy assistance and Medical Assistance, which are explicitly protected under Minnesota law.2. Funds from a check for $6,129 meant for damage repairs to my primary residence, which is also exempt from garnishment.Despite promptly filing for an exemption with Masareli Kramer **************** after the garnishment, they have yet to release the funds back into my account. This ongoing delay has caused significant financial hardship, as the funds are urgently needed for essential home repairs. The company's continued withholding of these funds, despite my filing for an exemption, has further exacerbated the distress and inconvenience caused by their initial failure to follow proper procedures. This is ridiculous, inappropriate , and unprofessional.Business Response
