Shady billing practice: My kids participated in the ******************* program in January of 2025. In July of 2025 we rec'd an email saying we had an outstanding balance of $199.5 (email was 6 months after YIG, had no zero after $199.5, no signature after Sincerely, no explanation and only addressed to 'household'). In the 6 months following YIG, we were never informed that we had a balance, and since the first contact email contained several errors, we were instructed by our YIG advisor that it was likely a scam and not to reply. In late October we received our first and only letter in the mail stating that we now owed $399. I reached out to **** via phone and the representative could not explain why we were receiving this bill and put me on hold for 10 minutes with no resolution. I reached out to our advisor and he was able to get me in touch with YIG. I was finally informed that the 3rd installment of our program payment never went through because our CC had been removed from their system in December of 2024. We were never informed of this. My ********** confirmed that there were no disruptions to our cc so if there was a billing issue it was not on our end. I have discovered that **** was going through a new software system around this time. After some back and forth trying to get answers, I rec'd a letter from a collections agency. **** had error upon error in their billing without any accountability. I emailed my contact with my concerns and have been ignored.

The customer still owes the final installment for both children. The account was removed from the credit card on file, and an email was sent to the customer on January 6, 2025, notifying her that the payment information had been removed due to an expired card. The remaining balance is still outstanding, as we did not receive a response from the customer and were unable to process the payment with the expired credit card.  The Balance of $399.00 is for 2 students attending YIG, $199.50 per student.

The issue is the power camp qualifications or/requirements. It states fifth grade or 11 years old. My grandson is in fifth grade and hes 11 years old and now he can no longer participate because hes not started six grade and hes 11 years old. I was told that requirement is not about age however, if you look at the requirements thats listed in black-and-white it says 11 year old and he is 11 year old. I think its because there was a situation that happened at the *********** location and I believe it was based on race That now the retaliation is he can no longer be there.

Regarding the *********** age care and summer programs, my son has been assaulted on multiple occasions by students and staff. Last year, he was kicked in the privates twice and was the only one who received consequences, because he started it with a verbal confrontation, the third time was because a child dared another child to do this, saying he'd give the child a chip, (since they had seen this was okay to do to my son and other children had not been reprimanded for the same action. The second time, my son was pulled by his arm into the hall and yelled at in front of the other children. Two ******* ago, a staff member hit my son in the face. The staff have often just been sitting on their phones, with the children playing unsupervised. When altercations happen between children, most often there were no adult witnesses to the incident and the staff decide which version of the incident they want to believe. A month or so ago my son was suspended from the program when a child attacked him and my son restrained the smaller child from being able to hit him. I expressed concerns about the lack of supervision to the Site Director and advised that I would work to transition my 9 year old to take the bus for his own safety. She took that and twisted it and informed the school, but not me, that he was no longer enrolled in the program. I told her to enroll him again, as he isn't prepared to stay home alone in the mornings. I asked that we keep everything in writing moving forward, and that this was retaliation for me expressing my concerns. She asked to meet in person and I reminded her I would like everything in writing. Today, a Friday, I received an email saying my son is no longer allowed at the program until I meet with her in person. I called her to schedule a meeting and explain giving no advance notice is also retaliatory. She did not answer my call and I had to leave a message. They have discriminated against my son's adhd disability.
