*** and Innerspec are dishonest and you risk to have things stolen if you hire them!! After performing an inspection on a property where we were the buyers, Innerspec approached the owner of the property about purchasing some of owner's personal property that was included in our contract of purchase. As soon as I was made aware of their deal, I notified *** that he should not pursue the owner about any items as they are part of the transaction. *** disregarded and in an unethical way behind our back continued to make a deal with the owner and removed several loads of personal property from the property. Once we were made aware of this, I spoke with *** and the owner and we went over the contractual obligations once again. The owner refunded Innerspec and *** 2/3 of his payment and it was settled. After we purchased the property, *** approached us and said that he has interest in purchasing some of the construction material and other miscellaneous items from this property. We agreed to meet after the snow melted to go over what we could sell. We met and agreed what items Innerspec can take for a fee of $700. *** took the items and disappeared. After reaching several times to him in regards to the payment without hearing back, I texted *** one last time that we will be using other avenues to get the money we agreed upon. *** informed me that he had no intention of paying us because there were items he didn't get to take from the deal with the previous owner even though he has received a refund for them. We were not part of that deal and are not responsible for *** choosing to proceed with an unethical deal despite us telling him that all those items were sold with the property as per our purchase agreement. *** in essence stole from us twice and lied. We hired an inspector and he used it for his own interest..to steal. I would caution anyone in using this company to perform inspections. I request Innerspec to pay per our agreement for the items they stole.
