On December 21, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Commerce. The Consent Order settles allegations that the business used "fraudulent, coercive, or dishonest practices, or
demonstrated incompetence, untrustworthiness, or financial irresponsibility whether or not involving the business of insurance in this state or elsewhere, in violation of Minn. Stat. § 60K.43, subd. 1(8) (2022)." Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to revocation of the insurance producer license # 40209096; a civil penalty of $10,000.00 will be stayed on the condition the business complies with the Order and commits no further violations of any law, rule or order under Minnesota Dept. of Commerce and to pay $135.00 in investigation costs. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
