            I was given a promised installation date, but unfortunately the job was later cancelled.Comment On March 1, 2023, I received a proposal from Conserva Irrigation of Delaware Valley to install my irrigation system in late May. Wanting to confirm a firm start date, I contacted the company and spoke to ***. Unfortunately, *** informed me that they had to cease the installation of irrigation systems due to an unprecedented labor shortage. They will only focus on opening and closing procedures and repair work. *** assured me I would receive my refund check within a few days.As time passed, I didn't receive my refund check, so I emailed the company again on May 30, 2023, to inquire about the status of my money. ****, the operations manager, replied that I should receive my refund on June 10, 2023, in two weeks. However, no check arrived by June 12, 2023, and several calls to the company went unanswered. I sent another email, stating that if I didn't receive my refund by June 14, 2023, I would file a complaint with the BBB, the ** *********************** of ******** Protection, and leave a poor rating online.Finally, on June 14, 2023, I received an email from the company stating that my refund check had been issued.I haven't received my refund check as of 6/24/23. My next step is to take legal action in small claims court.             In Feb, 2021, I made an appointment for May 5th with Conserva (the earliest they had). In early May, the company pushed the appointment to May 28th, when the crew arrived at 3:30pm and said this was an all-day job and they would have to return. They marked the sprinkler heads with flags and played with the heads for about 1.5 hours. For the next week and half, I repeatedly tried to reschedule the appointment and was ignored by phone and website *********************************************************). A septic tank replacement in Feb required re-seeding and without water, nothing grew. The rest of my lawn looked dead by now due to over 100 degree temp in June. My landscaping also suffered. At last, on June 21, I was forced to hire Mulligan's (************************************), who repaired my sprinkler system in 3 hours. Then, on June 22, I finally heard back from Conserva Irrigation; I received a TEXT demanding $492 as balance due. I was asked to call, but again no one answered. In fact, the message on their answering machines warns customers in advance that they are very busy.
