1 starstay away from these fraud company. orderdered and paid for few items on April 9th. today is April 22th and they have not yet shipped the item or provided any update. called 5 times and all they say is we will ship it today but it never happened. there are a lot of other good companies out there where you can purchase better product than **** Lake. its better to stay away from these fraud companies.Mann Lake Ltd

1 starOn October 30, 2023 I ordered 3 mouse guards for my 8 frame hives. I tried to order via Amazon with free shipping and no hassle returns but they only had 10 frame mouse guards. On November 2nd I received the 3 items ($9.95 plus tax and $10.51 shipping)= $*****.On November 5th I went to put the 3 mouse guards on my 3 hives and not one of these "made in *****" mouse guards fit.I contacted support via email.The supervisor via email stated that the " 8 frame equipment does not have a standard size throughout the industry the way that 10 frame equipment does so equipment purchased from different companies may vary in width".This disclaimer was not part of the online description else I would not have ordered.I requested a paid mailing label to return the 3 unused mouse guards for a full refund.I received a *** mailing label via email and dropped off the items for refund.On November 14th, I received an email from AR that only $***** refund to my credit card. Let's do the math ... I have returned 3 new mouse guards @ $9.95 plus tax and was only refunded $*****.I'm not an idiot ... I would never have agreed to return via *** mailing label. Instead as a sane person, I would have sold these 3 unused mouse guards to a fellow beekeeper to break even.I am now out $30.05 and **** Lake makes no attempt to make this right for me as a customer.I will never recommend **** Lake.I will never purchase from **** Lake.FRAUD MISREPRESENTED HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SCAMMERS DO NOT SUPPORT this made in china merchandise.Buy American and Support legitimate, moral companies.I am disputing these charges formally with my credit card company. ***** - purchase / shipping (*****) refunded (they charged me to return 3 unused metal mouse guards)----------$30.05 I have loss and nothing to show for this horrible transaction with Mann Lake Ltd.I want a full refund $***** and an apology for horrible customer service.Mann Lake Ltd

The Mann Lake LTD Mouse guard product is made to fit our frame equipment and may not fit another company's frame product as they vary in width. The product dimensions are clearly listed on ************ Lake product page as well as our website so customers can compare dimensions prior to purchasing the product.Our customer service representative explained our refund policy and process to the customer, and the customer was refunded less the cost of the prepaid return label following our policy.Review fromEleanor D

1 starRecently I applied for a wholesale account application in July. I applied to access their bee merchandise from their catalog but was informed in September that my application had been declined due to a policy prohibiting sales within a 30-mile radius of existing vendors.Living in the expansive ***************, *******, I find this policy to be unreasonably restrictive. Despite my positive history as a **** Lake customer now for many years, this recent interaction with has fallen short of my expectations for customer service.Consequently, I have chosen to take my business elsewhere. I am sharing this feedback on the Better Business Bureau website to make others aware of my experience and to encourage **** Lake to reevaluate this policy.Mann Lake Ltd

Mann Lake LTD's current policy prohibiting sales within a 30 mile radius of existing vendors is due to the niche nature of our business. We protect a radius around our resellers in order to promote their success for their loyalty to **** Lake. We also have a minimum spend in the customers purchase history in order to be considered for a wholesale account, in which this customer has not met. Looking at this customer's spend history; their primarily purchase is for honey containers. Our wholesale program is not for customers that are reselling honey.Review fromDavid B

1 starI have shopped ************* Lake since 2009 and never had any issues until the last few years. **************** was great, orders were shipped out immediately and the website was excellent, storing my complete order history from the beginning. Now customer service is sub par, orders ship out late, are packaged poorly and come damaged, the hive components are not nearly the quality and the website changed, all of my order history is gone, and only saves some of my purchase information. Not sure what happened to them, but Im not happy at all. I will probably be buying elsewhere from now on.Mann Lake Ltd

1 starI tried to place an order on the website and I kept getting errors and my order would not go through. So I called and placed my order on the phone. The lady told me the website was messed up and not working right and she would take my order. I gave her a gift card mastercard for $25.00 and asked the remainder to be put on another card. The next day a lady called and said she needed my credit card numbers for the order. I told her I had already given that information and she said she needed it again. I was on my way out for a doctor's *********** and did not have time to give all the info again so I told her just to cancel the order.A few days later the order arrived. I called and the lady said the phone order was canceled but the website order went through. I told her I never got an order confirmation and I canceled the order. She said I would have to pay to return the order for a refund.I called again because on the invoice I was sent saying I still owed $25.00 it showed to put $25.00 on the gift card and the remainder on the other card. Which is what I told them on the phone, not on the website order. This time I was told it was the website order I canceled and not the phone order.The $25.00 did not go through because I canceled that order so I used the gift card later that evening to order what I needed at another company.I didn't want to waste more money sending the package back, so despite the package being severely damaged, and receiving an order I canceled and now had two of because I ordered it from somewhere else, I chose to keep it and cut my losses.So I called to pay the $25.00 I owed, only to find out they had already put the $25.00 on my credit card without my authorization to do so. I told the lady I would include that in the information to the BBB.As I am typing this, I received a phone call. They now want to work this out.I canceled the order. It was their mistake not mine. Mann Lake LTD has tried contacting the customer multiple times without success. The $25 was refunded to the customers card on 24 March. If the product is damaged, please provide photos so we are able to file a claim with the shipper. **** Lake will either provide a replacement or refund to the customer. If the product is damaged beyond repair based off of provided photos please do not send the product back. However, if the product proved to not be damaged, **** Lake will pay the shipment fees back to our facility. Thank you.Diana H.

I have only received one phone call and only one phone call shows on my caller ID. The voice message ************* left did say the charge was removed from my credit card. I will call when I have time to pay the remaining balance. The box it was shipped in was too damage to return but the product was only dented up some, still usable. As stated in my review I chose to keep the shipment and pay the $25.00 I still owe. **** Lake paying for the shipment to be returned from the start would have made all the difference in my opinion and review. I understand mistakes happen but I should not have to pay for a mistake that was not mine. I have no control over if your website works correctly or not. My review is just stating my experience of dealing with this issue and customer service to let others be informed before they do business with **** Lake.
