      If I could give a 0, I would! Both the service department and sales department are totally dishonest, to say the least! I took my car in to have the air conditioner fixed. First time they said it had too much Freon. (I had put in one small container after checking pressure. ) They took it out and charged $225 . Next time I used it, it didnt work. Took it back and they said it was low! They put some in and changed me again $225. I argued with them about being changed again when they hadnt fixed the problem. The next day it didnt work! I took it back and after 3 1/2 hours they said it needed a sensor and it would cost me just under $1000! I asked how much the sensor cost and he said $169 and wouldnt deduct the $450 I had already paid. I called my son and he said I need to get a new car. I was so upset about the whole thing I foolishly bought one from them that same day. By then I had been there 6 hours. Specifically told the salesman manager I did NOT want the extended warranty. When I questioned what the $2585 for he misled me and rushed me on to sign the paperwork which was many pages. I had to go back the next day to get the paperwork and the vehicle. When I got home I read the papers I had signed and realized I had signed unknowingly the extended warranty! I talked to them about it and he said he would cancel it. Between June 13 and July 24th I talked 5 times to the warranty company and twice to sales . He had me sign the cancellation contract and assured me he sent it in. He hadnt. July 24th I had to cancel with the warranty company by email as the **** dealership obviously was not going to do it! As a result I had to pay for the warranty for the almost two months I had the car. I definitely will not go back to them again!!! They are the most dishonest people Ive ever dealt with!

      I am writing regarding complaint number ****** regarding the ************************************************ May 2023. We understand that the client is frustrated with the experience they had, which is extremely upsetting to us as we strive to make every client happy! When the client first brought in their vehicle to our service department, the technician diagnosed the vehicle stating that the ** system had been overcharged to around 400psi which can cause parts to fail internally. The technician released the pressure and then recharged the ** to standard pressure, with that the ** system started to work. A few weeks later, the client returned with the vehicle, after traveling an additional ***** miles, and the ** system showed over once again and upon further review the compressor clutch cycling switch was identified as damaged and needed to be repaired; this was caused from the ** system being overcharged previously. The client then decided to not fix the vehicle but rather trade in the vehicle and purchase a new vehicle off the lot. The purchased vehicle was signed out with a service contract however upon receiving word from the customer that they were not interested in the service contract, the cancellation paperwork was completed, submitted and the customer will be receiving a full refund for the warranty cancellation.       Brought our 2017 **** Explorer/Police Interceptor to Dondelinger Ford because there was a charging issue. Diagnosis was that the alternator failed. We asked them to use a reconditioned/used alternator because it was just before Christmas. They did. The ******************* came to $1363. They charged us $800 in labor alone (their rate is $155.79 hr). This means 5 hours in labor. That's more than double the time that any other professional would take to replace an alternator, according to the internet and several repair shops that I called.Dondelinger Ford appears to be the most expensive place for repairs in the nation.Not recommended.

      I am writing regarding complaint number ****** regarding the ************************************************** December 2022. We understand that the client is frustrated with the experience they had, which is extremely upsetting to us as we strive to make every client happy! The main concern within this review is regarding the time to repair the alternator. During the repair process for replacing the reconditioned alternator it was found that there was a stripped out stud that impeded entry to the repair area. With this impeding stud, and alternate method was used to gain access to the generator in order to complete the repair. Unfortunately, this deviation from the standard repair caused additional time to the repair which increases the labor hours needed to complete it correctly.       I contacted ****** at the dealership about a truck I was interested in purchasing. ****** got me information about cost for freight. When I confirmed I would like to move forward to purchase, she said sales would call me. I did not hear back and called again. Finally I spoke to **** in sales and when stating I wanted to purchase, he had to confirm freight with ******. Then when I finally got an answer, the price of the truck had increased $3,500.

      I am writing regarding complaint number ****** regarding the 2013 **** F-150 that the client was inquiring about in early April 2022. We understand that the client is frustrated with the experience they had, which is extremely upsetting to us as we strive to make every client happy! There seems to be two key concerns that we will address below. The first concern is regarding communication and lack of follow up. We have kept a meticulous record of the correspondence between our team member and the client, included approximately ******************************************** phone calls. The client indicated interest through the online site on 3/30/2022 and we responded swiftly to send back a follow up email the same day and were able to make a phone connection the next day, 3/31/22. On 3/31/2022 our team member discussed with the client over the phone the 2013 **** F-150. After our team member discussed the vehicle with the client on March 31st, the client asked for a quote to ship the vehicle to ******, our representative called back the next morning with the shipping quote and left it on a voicemail. With no response from the client, she followed up 6 days after the message with the quote was left and being unable to reach the client, we left an additional voicemail. After the call we received an email that indicated the client wasnt returning calls until the date of response because her husband had received hand surgery on the previous Thursday, 3/31/2022. From that point on were in constant contact with the client until she decided not to purchase.The second concern is regarding the vehicle price change that occurred over the two weeks of discussion with the client. Unfortunately, during the time from the original price was quoted to the time the second price was quoted we found an issue with the vehicle. This repair is very costly and not something that was able to be absorbed in the original pricing that we quoted. After completing the repair, we informed the client of the completed repair and presented an option to buy the vehicle for $16,000 or to decide to continue looking for another vehicle. The client chose to continue her search elsewhere. I understand the clients frustration in this situation however, this was an unexpected issue that can occur with used vehicles and we are unable to predict or plan on.
