    I bought the x2s wifi while it works fine to contact the thermostat from the internal network, it doesn't connect from outside. I have reset my phone reset my thrmostat. If I could I'd report this company to the ************************. I mean they sell something and in order to get support it takes them 2 hours to pick up the phone and the person who picks up doesn't speak english and known nothing. I hate this company. I hired a professional to hook it up which costed med $135 dollars i'm not going to hire a professional to fix this dam thing

    When lodging a product complaint with the BBB, its quite useful and helpful to provide an actual model number for the thermostat in question.  (x2s) is not Resideo Honeywell-Home Model Number nomenclature, so based on the descriptor: (x2s) ; we can't be certain that the thermostat in question is even our product, but if the complainant has an actual Resideo Honeywell-Home thermostat and a corresponding model number for it, then in accord with the contact information that appears on the product packaging and in the literature, he can call ************** during standard business hours for further product assistance at Customer Support. Otherwise, there is the chat option via the website- which also appears on the packaging and in the literature.

    ************** offered a reduction in homeowners insurance premium with a purchase of not less than two Resideo leak detectors. After purchasing 4 detectors at close to $200 I have had trouble with them since the beginning. In order to receive the discount you have to give permission for Resideo to share monitoring information with ****. As soon as **** cannot see the live link with the devices they notify you and if you dont rectify the situation the remove the insurance discount. My detectors have been trouble from day 1-with constant dropping of WIFI signal. When this happens its a laborious process to establish the links with WIFI OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I have several smart devices in my home all performing without a glitch but these device-my God its a never ending battle. **** should have done a better job in choosing a lackluster company and product to pair up with. Ive lost patience dealing with these Resideo pieces of JUNK. Ive made peace with myself that I spent $200 bucks to save $165 bucks on my insurance premium. Resideo is a scam and shame on **** for not doing a better job of product research and reliability before entering into a business relationship!

    While Resideo Honeywell-Home certainly regrets hearing of this negative experience from a Resideo *********-Home customer and **** insured, there tens of thousands of North American consumers who use these Water Leak Detectors on-line successfully with only the occasional WiFi connection interruption. So, if Mr. *********** ***** has had an inordinate run of connectivity errors/issues since acquiring his WLDs beginning at an unknown date as of this time, then our technical support staff would have to do a deeper technical dive into this particular WiFi connectivity issue while the customer is on-site to assist with troubleshooting exercises. 

    In the meantime, we sincerely apologize for any trouble and/or difficulties associated with this situation, but if Mr. *********** ***** would be amenable to working with us further to examine the WiFi connectivity problem, then we can be reached for assistance during standard business hours at **************.

    Bought a Honeywell T2 non programmable thermostat and Ive had to replace it 3 times since 9/27/21. Store only gives 1 year warranty. Called Honeywell which is Resideo for the customer service representative to tell me they cant help me or replace this item. Refused to answer my question on why the device freezes up at the one year ***** Told me to go back to the store where I purchased. I did that and they cant help me either as they tell me to call Honeywell. All Ive asked is for a replacement that doesnt freeze up and break at the year ***** DONT purchase Honeywell Home thermostats by far the worst product for a thermostat. And customer service is ridiculous.

    Resideo Honeywell-Home Customer Support at ************** has no prior record of phone contact, e-mail, or social chat with a [*********************] about any Honeywell product, so we are not able to account for a claim of poor customer service as we establish a case record history in our database for all customers who contact us for any reason. Resideo would be happy to review this matter further if the complainant will contact us at ************** during standard business hours Mon-Fri with the model and serial numbers for the T2 Thermostat in question for further review and consideration of this warranty claim.

    wow, worst possible non-assistance that you can get. not interested in helping a customer. *************** employees to have customers jump through so many hoops for a FAILED PRODUCT. Never again, not *************** product is not even listed on their site anymore but they would not accommodate me. No complaint line.

    I am appreciative that Resideo reached out to me and are offering to replace the product. I understand the processes however being old fashioned I still believe that customer service should always come first. Now I am appeased and will keep Resideo products in my view.
