      I've bought 4 IC40 units from Pentair and the last one only lasted 11-months. Based on my expereince with their chlorinators, it's junk and I'll never buy from them again. A total waste of $4-5k. But to get warranty support yuou have to pay a dealer to to unplug and re-plug the unit. I'm done.

      Over the years I have called Pentair's customer service a few times regarding various issues with Pentair pool equipment. Here's the way it works: you call and after some prompts, you will be speaking with a young female from ***************; she will collect some information; she will ask for your phone number so that she can call you back if the call is disrupted; you will ask her a technical question; she will place you on hold; she will read some things to you from materials that you already have read; you will explain that she is not answering the question; she will place you on hold again; the call will disconnect; she will not call you back as she said she would do; problem solved from Pentair's perspective.

      I purchased the Pentair whole house water filtration system approximately 2 years ago and have had to have the system repaired 4 times because of leaks at my own expense. Pentair does send a new filter but it isnt the filter its the pipes connecting the system that break. The last leak was a few weeks ago and I arrived home to find water gushing out of the pipe that I had repaired a few months ago. I have attempted several times to contact Pentair with my complaint but I have to agree that it is impossible to reach anyone. I even sent an email through the Pentair website with no response. I must add that once the warranty is gone you have to use an outside company to repair the system. The same man has repaired my system and it breaks after his repairs. The last time he tried to sell me a new system. Save yourself a lot of frustration and dont purchase this expensive system.

      I am sorry to hear of your issues you are having. Looking at your account it looks like you purchased our combination system back in 2020. It does look like you had some problems in 2021 with freeze damage to your sediment filter. It looks like in the last couple correspondences with you have been the plumbing pipes cracking or bursting. Due to continued issues with your pipes bursting, it was requested that you have your water pressure confirmed as multiple plumbing pipe failures not related to freeze damage would be uncommon. While the warranty on your water treatment system does cover manufacturers defect of all of our products for 12 years we only warranty plumbing pipes used to install the system for 1 year. I do see that you were able to contact our Tech Team in February where they were able to direct you on bypassing your system due to another pipe burst.       We had our pool built in 2013 and we used all Pentair products for our equipment needs. Everything has been great, except for Pentair GloBrite LED lights. Fast forward 5 years and all GloBrite light cases cracked and water seeped into the lights. Pentair replaced the lights under warranty and assured that they solved the housing manufacturing issue the original lights had. Fast foward another 5-6 years and now I have the same exact manufacturing issue with the lights that were replaced. Reached out to Pentair customer service (case number *********** and was told that the lights are not covered under warranty because the warranty reverts back to the original installation date. Pentair should stand behind their products, even when replacing items under warranty, especially when there is such an obvious issue with the manufacturing of the GloBrite lights. I would like to believe that Pentair has resolved the manufacturing issue, but Im not willing to risk almost $5k (before installation), and then have the same busted GloBrite lights 5 years later.Do not purchase a LED light from Pentair because the housing will crack and start to rust. One would conclude that an LED light would last longer than 5 years.

      Intellichlor salt generator. This is the second one I have had to replace in a year and a half. At over $1,000.00 each the product is junk. This will be the last Pentair product I buy. Seals leaked and shorted unit out. Going to make sure its out on the internet for people to see this burned up junk.

      I had a Pentair chlorinator fail after 13 months. **** hrs. of use and my pool guy said it should last for ******* hours of use. This part cost me $1000. I contacted Pentair and they told me I was outside of warranty and that was that. **************************************************************************** $1000 for. the length of the warranty is a and the quality of their work is bad.

      We hired a new swimming pool to be installed in the fall of 2020. The contractor used primarily pentair products to which most have been fine. Our problem is TWO PENTAIR GLOBRIGHT POOL ************* were 2 installed new. In year two, 1 light went out and was covered by warranty, In the 37 & 38 month (3 year and 1 & 2 months) BOTH Pentair lights burned out. One was the light they replaced 1 year prior. To date we have no working lights. When I called Pentair they said we were past our warranty. These lights cost approx. $375 each plus $150 each to install. It appears Pentair has/had a problem with leaking lights. These lights are advertised to last ***** years. Please help!       I bought an over priced full house water filtration system two years ago. I have yet to have them answer the phone or emails. I cannot get service or parts. they seem to have disappeared. All of the phone numbers I call just go in a big loop with no opportunity to leave a voicemail. Corporate is closed during regular business hours. No other water company will repair my system. I am very remorseful about this purchase. They just dumped the boxes in my driveway and vanished.

      I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble getting into our phone system. If you contact ************ and press the option for Technical Support you will directed to a Technical Support Agent. These agents support all warranty and questions you have with your system. If you go to *************************************************************************************** you will find a "Replacement Part Locator" which will direct you to where to purchase all of our replacement parts. The **************** that you purchased from in 2021 was discontinued in 2022 and the those numbers were turned off as we indicated in our notifications to or customers. All parts and warranty are still available along with telephonic help if you need. I am sorry that you have had this issue, however if you use the contact information above, they will be happy to help.

      I purchased a pentair superflo vs pool pump and had it professionally installed. Within 3 years it stopped working. A pentair tech was sent out and replaced the drive and cover. It fixed the problem at the time and happened again. A tech was sent out again with the same part. My pump is only 5 years old and the problem has happened again. Pentair refuses to do anything further because I am out of warranty. The same problem 3 times within 5 years is a problem with the product

      ************** would give Pentair a -0 if I could. I bought a whole house water filtration system from ************* Systems. When I went to order replacement parts, just last week. I discovered the company had been sold to Pentair. When I went to the website for Pentair for replacement parts, I was provided a link to Amazon to purchase one of the two products needed. When you call , no one answered the phone and today, December 27, 2023, you get a message that the office is closed with no mention of a reopening date.

      Good morning, We are sorry for the confusion. Yes Pelican was acquired by Pentair in 2019 and was Pentair Pelican when you purchased in 2020. Last year the decision was made to move our direct to consumer website sales to our retail partners websites to give a better offering to our customers. In March of 2023 the WaterShield auto shipment program ended and customers were directed to our partner sites for their auto ship replacements. All the normal replacement parts you have purchased in the past on our website are still available just through different websites. Our *********************** is still available to offer technical help and to help with warranties if needed. Our *********************** is currently closed for the holidays and will be back on Jan 2.
