  Terrible terrible terrible communication until it’s time to get their check. Then they call literally every single day to see if the insurance check is received. They also promise services that can’t even get done. I do not recommend!!

  Where do I start? We were solicited to work with this company on a new roof. We signed a contract with them in August 2022. The work was completed with a few hiccups (they never came to pick up nails, we had to call multiple times to get them to come pick up their left over materials, the project manager never checked in with us upon the completion of the job, they broke a gutter). They didn't follow up to get the final payment from us for over a year. When we made the agreed upon final payment they came back with an additional payment request for thousands more dollars for additional work they claimed they did. However, when we submitted this request to our insurance underwriter, they were unable to prove they had done this additional work on the roof. They submitted photos to our insurance agency, some of which were of our home, but the photos that were supposed to prove the additional work were not of our home. They submitted photos of a house that looked similar to ours but clearly was not. The additional claim was denied by our insurance company. After fighting with them for months they sent us a letter threatening to sue us. Our insurance underwriter was happy to pay for the work done on our house, but not work that they couldn't prove was done, and for which they were submitted fraudulent photos. You should definitely not work with Viking Contractors.

  We always roll the yard with a magnet after we complete the job, if we are notified by the homeowner that there is still a mess we come back within 24 hours. We did damage a gutter when roofing, we offered a credit or to replace the gutter, she elected to take the credit. The roof had spaced decking that needed to be brought up to code, we sent 31 pictures of the roof build to insurance and requested they cover the decking. Of those ******************************** 2 pictures that were a different roof. We explained to the adjuster that those 2 pictures we sent in error and to disregard them. The insurance adjuster contacted the homeowner and she told them that the roof pictures were not of her house. Her house has a very distinct paint color and so does her neighbors house that was also in some of the pictures. As a result her insurance company did not pay her for the new decking so we had to ask her to pay us for it. As of today we still have not received final payment

  Extremely dissatisfied with communication and work performed. The gutter and window team were called back multiple times only because we went out and checked the work. While they did come back to complete the work, this required placing multiple phone calls and text messages and double, triple, and quadruple checking the work.
  Gutter Crew-
  -napping in our front yard face down
  -installed gutters short two times and tried to pass it off as acceptable
  -damaged downspout that was fortunately found and fixed or else there would have been a high risk for foundation/basement water intrusion
  Window Wrap Crew-
  -Viking contact that we were in communication with did not seem to have concerns over findings brought to their attention after checking over the finished work.
  --inconsistent wrap quality during installation
  -NO clean up performed by the crew-found multiple utility blades laying around the yard and in landscaping
  -workers did not pay attention to detail by missing numerous seal areas and neglecting to replace one piece of wrap on an elevated window
  Unacceptable communication, ethics, consistency, and work performed. Highly do not recommended unless you want a high risk of stepping on a nail or utility blade or having water intrusion following work done by Viking.

  Wow. I really thought this company was decent and hired professionals, but that is not the case. It took them nearly four months to replace siding and over 14 pages of issues we found when they said they were done with job. Poor craftsmanship and the owners could care less and never once reached out to apologize. They also lack communication. Say they will be out then no show.. multiple times. Run!! Not with the hastle. I wish I could attach pics of their poor quality work.
  One example? The used caulk to cover up poorly cut door trim. Tons of caulk. What the heck????

  Contacted Viking Contractors LLC thru Angies List and I agreed to the time they set. They would be at my home at 10:00 am. They sent 10 text messages and 4 emails reminding me of the date and time, including one that said they would be there in 15 minutes.
  When they never showed up I texted why and got a message that they did not do work in my area.
  What a waste of my time waiting for them and they never showed up.

  We are thrilled with the excellent work and professional services provided by Viking Contractors for our roof. They were extremely thorough in their work and took great care to follow all safety and protection procedures. We would highly recommend them to anyone in need of top-quality roofing work!

  The whole process, from booking the visit to being quoted through to the installation, was very smooth. The installers did the job very quickly and showed us the finished job. The new roof looks amazing. This company stands by its warranty and its word. We were thrilled with the service we received. All in all a very good experience for us and one we would happily recommend to others.

  A very efficient service I couldn’t be more satisfied with a team of roofers. Great guys and a great quality of work. The work was done very promptly to a very high standard and the process was very simple. It was my first time dealing with Viking and I Will absolutely be working with them again in future projects.
