On July 6, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business's application for a license would be denied under Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11 (b)(1)(2); 326B.095; 326B.33; 326B.46; 326B.805, subds. 1 and 3; 326B.84 (1)(14) (2020) and Minn.R 2891.0040, subp. 1A (2021). Under terms of the Consent Order, the license was granted and the business agreed to only conduct business in their licensed name, promptly respond truthfully to DLI requests for information, and cease and desist from offering to perform electrical and/or plumbing work in Minnesota without the proper license. In addition, the business agreed to notify DLI within 15 days if they are found to be a judgement debtor, satisfy or appeal and civil judgements within 30 days and if their license terminates for any reason, the business shall immediately cease and desist from acting as a residential building contractor, remodeler or residential roofer in Minnesota. The business further agreed to pay $1,000.00 of a monetary penalty, with $5,000.00 stayed on the condition they comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of law, rules or Orders by DLI.
