On May 24, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business's application for a residential building contractor's license would be denied under Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11 (b)(1)(2)(9); 326B.084, subd. 1; 326B.095; 326B.83, subd. 2; 326B.84 (1)(14)(15) (2020) and Minn. R. 2891.0040, subp. 1A (2021). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business's license is granted with the following conditions: the business shall only conduct business in it's licensed name; promptly provide accurate and truthful responses to DLI. The business's qualifying builder, Cory Moudry must remain law abiding and if found guilty of an offense related to the business, notify DLI within 10 days and he must abide by the restitution agreement associated with Stearns County Case No. 73-CR-10-8443. The business also agreed to notify DLI, if found to be a judgment debtor within 15 days and to satisfy or appeal any judgments associated with their residential building contracting within 30 days. The business further agreed to a penalty of $5,000.00, which is stayed on the condition they comply with the terms of the Order and all law, rule or order under DLI's authority. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
