On August 31, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business acted as or claimed to be a residential building contractor, roofer or residential remodelers without the required license from DLI, a violation of Minn. Stat. 36B.082, subds. 1, 7, 326B.805, subds, 1, 3, and 326B.81 (2020). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to cease and desist from acting or claiming to be a residential building contractor, roofer or residential remodeler in Minnesota without the required license and qualifications and pay $500.00 of a $3000.00 penalty with the balance stayed so long as they do not violate any further law, rule or order under DLI responsibility. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
