      To anyone thinking to work for this company I highly encourage you not to pursue it. They are extremely unorganized and all over the place! I ended up forfeiting my position there due to being so overwhelmed and stressed out. Now going on a month where I have yet to receive my last two checks from them. I tried reaching out multiple times but nothing. At this point I am having to take a loss and figure my way out of the financial bind they left me in.. I am now behind on multiple bills, risking my car being repossessed, risking eviction, andA couple other situations due to not being paid by this company. Such a horrible company to work for!!! If only I could give it a zero star rating I would!!!!!

      I agree with many others on this post. If there was a ZERO stars I would've selected that. I have Horizon healthcare also with Prime as the pharmacy benefits manager--although the title should be "pharmacy no-benefits manager" since having Prime is like not having any drug coverage. ****, deny, deny...it is all about dollars and cents to this company. I was started on a medication that was the only med that worked for me to treat the medical condition I have had for over 30 years, and, after the free coupon from the manufacturer ran out, Prime denied covering the medication even though it worked for me. The denial letter said I was supposed to try a list of other medications first, before being prescribed this one, but cautioned that the others on the list may be denied too. ********************** is useless if it does not cover prescriptions from physicians who know the patients and conditions they are prescribing for--to be denied by a physician who is merely looking at paperwork and has never seen me and is only concerned about saving money for Prime is just shoddy medical care--period!

      There should be a NO STAR OPTION, because this company does not deserve a single star. AVOID PRIME AT ALL COSTS. WE PAY FOR SO CALLED PRESCRIPTION COVERAGE AND WE HAVE NONE. ON SAME MEDICATION FOR 5 YEARS, THE ONLY ONE WITHOUT SUDE EFFECTS, AND PRIME DENIES, DENIES, DENIES COVERAGE. WE WAITED OVER A WEEK, SPENT HOURS ON THE ***** AND STILL NO MEDICINE. WE CANNOT AFFORD TO BUY. THIS COMPANY HAS STOPPED ******** COLD ****** AND WANT US TO NOW EXPERIMENT WITH SOME NEW GENERIC THAT IS NOT THE GENERIC FOR THE ** THEY ARE DENYING. THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, THERE IS NO CLINICAL REVIEW TEAM. WE GUESS PRIME JUST FOCUSED ON THEIR PROFITS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT FOCUSED ON PATIENT CARE OR ADVERSE SIDE EFFECTS.THIS IS NOT A BENEFIT. THIS IS DISGRACEFUL AND THE OPPOSITE OF HEALTH CARE.

      Prime Therapeutics LLC is horrible. I have Florida Blue for insurance. MY PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR prescribed medications to assist with conditions. The medications out of pocket cost over $1000. They are on the approved list. Prime has stated that I do not meet the conditions for these medications. Who are they to say my doctor is wrong? They have never seen me. They are trying to avoid paying out for medications they consider expensive. My wife, on the other hand, and other family members who have *************** Shield where the prescriptions are managed by other companies, have had ZERO problems getting the same medications approved. When I call Prime, they pretend to work with me and then hang up on me. I would choose zero stars, but it does not allow that option.

      ZERO STARS, but unfortunately that is not an option. I have been on one medication for 10 years and this is a medication that I absolutely need to remain out of the hospital (no, it's not psychiatric, but I am going to sound crazy, so bare with me lol). The previous pharmaceutical companies that worked with Horizon have had no issue with the authorization any of the prior years. Every single time I speak with someone at this company, they sound as if they could not care less about how this impacts your daily functioning whatsoever. WHY would Horizon contract with them? Lowest bidder maybe? I don't know, but I have never in my life, especially working in health care, dealt with a company who makes it more apparent that they do not give a s*** about you or your health. "You're dying? Oh, um, well we can approve you dying, but not the medication to keep you alive, is there anything else we can help you with?" Help me? You didn't help me to begin with. You lose documentation that is sent to you for appeals and to obtain medication that ACTUAL DOCTORS prescribe!! Person on the other end of the phone, are you a doctor? Politely, F*** you Prime Therapeutics, your so called protocols and the fact that you get to go home at night and not think about anyone else. Maybe one day you will be the one who needs to use your company for essential medication and you will be denied. Please feel free to reply with your generic ******** response regarding HIPAA and how you cannot comment on blah blah blah because that's all you're good for. Sorry Horizon BCBS, if you are going to stay with them, I'm not staying with you. Also, I am advising my patients of the issues that they will eventually run into and giving them options for other insurance carriers that do not deal with Prime Therapeutics.

      Prime Therapeutics is the absolute worst, zero rating would be more accurate. They are unethical and all about money. There is no longer any concern for the health of the patients or respect for a doctors decision. I was put on blood pressure medicine ******************************************************** it. At that time I was put on my current blood pressure medication and have been fine without any bad side effects. Now Prime Therapeutics is trying to force me to take one containing sulfa (which made me very dehydrated and sick in the past) in place of that has worked well for 20 years with no adverse reactions. Something needs to be done to help all of the insured that Prime Therapeutics is forcing to take a new medications that has caused adverse reactions in the past.

      I have been dealing with them for a month. I had a medication pre-authorized in December 2022, and it was pre-authorized for a year. After 30 days, they removed the medication from the "formulary" and will not approve it. We've given them all prior charts showing the alternatives I've tried over the years, and we finally found something that works, is not an opioid, and let's me be clear headed. Someone, who is not a doctor at Prime, will not approve the medication and they want me to pay the $1000 per month for it. Why am I paying them insurance premiums? Why did they approve it in December only to take it away in January? In my opinion, they are very dishonest. They are owned by several BCBS insurance companies.

      SATAN IN AN ORGANIZATION! DO NOT GIVE A S*** ABOUT HUMAN BEINGS. ALL ABOUT PROTECTING THE ALMIGHTY HEALH INSURANCE COMPANIES. DON'T CARE IF YOUR SURVIVAL DEPENDS ON TAKING A MEDICATION. WILL MAKE YOU JUMP THROUGH A MILLION HOOPS TO JUST DENY YOUR APPEAL, ALL THE WHILE YOU STRUGGLE PHYSICALLY WITHOUT YOUR MEDICATION.

      I'd give zero stars if I could. The worst. I've had to call them over and over and over trying to get a prior authorization. Every person I talk to seems to have no idea what they're doing and tells me something different. At one point, my doctor's ****** sent me a screenshot of a message from Prime saying they'd received the PA request and were processing it. When I called Prime to check on it, they had no record of it. They said the request must not have "stuck." What? Had to start over yet again. And there seems to be less than zero communication or coordination between Prime and Accredo, the specialty pharmacy that ********** makes us use. You have to be the go-between and call each of them repeatedly to get the one to send something to the other, to make sure the other received it, and on and on. So frustrating.
