I purchased this carpet in September of 2022 from cloquet flooring for $****. Prior to buying I asked there professional opinion of what I should buy based on kids, dogs etc. This Phenix carpet that i bought was per there recommendation. Two months of having the carpet I started to get these ripples in my carpet, basically the carpet is clumping together along with seams popping ** in 5 places. It took Cloquet flooring almost three months to file the claim and have the owner *** come look. When he looked at it, he said this was an absolute defect in the carpet and a claim should be made. He also said I should get a shorter carpet. I asked him why I wasn't told this prior to buying since I did follow up numerous times on what the best carpet would be. After the claim was denied(which cloquet flooring never told me even though the promised they would tell me, *** went on to say there is nothing he can do at this point other than have someone clean my carpet and fix the seams that are showing. I asked him how that's possible since he recommended the carpet and sold me the carpet. He said he doesn't inspect the carpet that's Phenix job and if ****** doesn't refund me I'm basically SOL. The report says it's only happening in high traffic areas which is false, it's everywhere but does show more in high traffic areas. I spent **** dollars on a carpet to have it show huge wear in two months is absolutely unacceptable and I should not have to eat this. If you could all please help me fix a wrong on the part of Cloquet flooring and Phenix carpet Co I would greatly appreciate it. I am asking for a refund because i do not want to work with this company again. They lie about getting back to you, say there going to do things they dont do and basically hope you forget about the situation rather than doing the right thing and fixing the issue.
