On June 3, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082 (2020) by acting or claiming to be a residential building contractor, residential remodeler, or residential roofer, and performed or offered to perform plumbing work in the state of Minnesota without a contractor license issued by DLI. Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to cease and desist from acting as a residential building contractor, remodeler or residential roofer and offering to perform plumbing work in Minnesota until compliance with Minn. Stat. 326B.801--326B.825 (2020), is achieved, including licensing. The business also agreed to pay $5,000.00 of a $15,000.00 penalty with the balance stayed on the condition the business complies with the terms of the Order and does not violate any law, rules or orders under DLI authority. The Consent Order was for settlement purposes only and should not be considered as an admission of guilt or finding of violation of the law. For more details go to the below link.
