I am sending this as my 75 year old mother has been scammed by these people . She had bought a car about 4 months ago from ***** and told her it had a fresh oil change and was nothing wrong with it but sold as is . She drove it to her house that is about 50 miles away . On her way home the check engine light came on . I came to look it over as she was having anxiety issues . I came had it tested and was told the Catalytic coverts had to be replace and this code was erased . So after so many miles it would come back on . Also after looking at it it was two quarts low on oil and was not just changed. I found a sponge in the top cover so it would look like it leaked . After looking at it I had to replace the oil cover gasket on it as it was leaking in multiple places . ***** was call to let him know about the cats and he said he would fix them and ordered the parts . My mom then called him and he set a day about 3 weeks out . My mom called a few days before to verify he said yes we have the parts . When she drove all the way back down there she was told by another guy he didnt know nothing about it and they dont fixed cars there . She explained again and ***** came out said oh sorry we got the wrong part for the car Ill order another one should have it In 5 days. Its been 2 months and now there just avoid her . Lies and tampering with vehicles to make them look good and have her come all the way down for nothing . This needs to be replaced as they said they were going to

    *******************************/ BBB

This dispute with *************************** has ** confused! No car is listed ? *************************** has never purchased a car from us! We are being accused of scamming, lies, tampering. These statements are made by someone with an ax to grind. Here is the truth, all cars sold at steves auto sales are sold with no warranty, as is. All customers sigh a buyers guide, which clearly states that they are responsible for any repairs after purchase. In the past customers have tried to get free repairs, they just do not seem to understand that we have sighed a contract with them. We hold them to that contract. We hold no malice toward ***************************. He just needs to come to the understanding that the purchaser pays for repairs. Also false allegations made against us may be a reason for litigation. Thank you, *********************
