On July, 22, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11 (b)(1) and 325E.66 (2022). Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to be prohibited from offering any inducement to a homeowner for an insurance funded residential building project, including but not limited to offering to pay any part of an insurance deductible, compensation or offering compensation to provide services to a homeowner. The business will have a fine of $5,000.00, with the full balance stayed on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority.
