      The neighbor behind our house and us were impacted by the tornadoes on August 27. He hired *******************, owner of Arbor Barber, to take care of tree damage. On August 30, **** asked my husband if it would be ok for one of our neighbor's trees to fall in our backyard. My husband granted permission but asked him to clean up the damage to our yard. Before ******************* cut the tree, he did not take down the fence, which separates the yards. The tree fell into our yard, broke our fence, and broke off another tree in our yard. Then ******************* left for home, without talking to us about the damaged fence and tree. I called ********** about the damages, and he said that my husband gave him permission. On 8/31, ************ threw a roll of fencing into our yard, put 2 posts in (only 14" deep holes) and left for the day. Since we have 2 dogs, my husband had to fix the fence so the dogs could go outside.

      This guy John is a clown. He was fired by the REAL Arbor Barber (out of Lakeville, MN) because of incompetence and shady business dealings and co-opted the title Arbor Barber by adding additional verbiage/code. He charges for estimates under the auspices of a down payment, neglects to call (after receiving a phone number personally) while calling an (Angi-linked number) claiming he was given the wrong number by me. He likely will respond to this saying he knocked on the door; okay, he said he's provide a courtesy call. He then sent me an estimate to my flip phone, after I told him to email me, as I would not be able to read a handwritten estimate on the flip phone. I'm sure he will respond to this in his nonsensical way. Look @ the numbers, he has NO reviews that are even near positive!

      This man has no idea what he is taking about. None of it is true. Also, my ******* ********************* went with a crew to do his job. ************** account of what happened is as follows: First I called to let him confirm we where coming as the job had been scheduled. Got no answer. When we arrived to do the work, we knocked the door, got no answer. We couldnt do the job because his truck was in the way. So we started to contact others who where also parked close to the work site. While we did that we knock and called again. We could never get an answer. This all took about 30 minutes. So I called **** to tell him of the issue and ask what to do.As we where leaving the guy came out, I told him we where instructed to go to the next job. We left. I sent him multiple emailed copies of the contract to the email address he gave. I sent him pictures by phone. I scheduled the job with him- my ******* at the time called him before they went to his house, got no answer. They called and knocked his door multiple times to get him to move his truck as agreed when we made the contract. He said it would be out of the way. My crew tried for 30 minutes to get him to answer them. This was all his fault. His down payment of $40.00 didnt even cover the fuel cost of the trucks sent to him on time to do his job. Not to mention the cost of the crew. He is and was impossible to deal with. As far as the other people on BBB, it seems to me, in all my years in business, only the people whom have negative things to say post. If I ask a happy customer to post they never do. Why- because they are happy! We do 2 and 3 jobs a day almost every day. All of those customers are happy!
