    3 men solicited at my door and talked me into scheduling an appointment with one of their sales people for September 5, 2024. The salesman came and I did not receive a copy of contract I was pressured into signing both in installation time and reduction of price on signing that day. I was remodeling my 1st floor where the windows would go in. I told him I would order the windows next year but he insisted that I do it now before the new floors went in. He also lied about the price because I would only get this price that day because he was going to include it in a big order that he was going to get that day. He also took my social security number which I was very apprehensive on giving. Because of all this I tried to cancel order within 3 day time limit but I was unsuccessful due to the salesman never returning my calls after I left voice messages on his number. When I finally got hold of the company after goggling the number of the company I was told the order never went in because I needed board approval and a final measurement scheduled. I also told her I didnt know what I ordered, that I needed a copy. She sent me the form to give to the board but no information of what I ordered; consequently, nothing was approved. No final measurement was scheduled. The Holidays came and went and then I went to ******* for the winter. Didnt hear from Majic Windows until I received a note from their legal department threatening me with legal action unless I complete the Agreement and pay them $9814.00. I do not know what I ordered! I do not want to deal with this company! They lie and they pressure! They cant be trusted.

    This complaint is regarding a company called Majic Flooring, not Majic Woodworks. You have the wrong company.

    Had new flooring put in my small kitchen by Majic Window. They laid down a Transition Strip between the dining room and the kitchen. The strip rests on the floor higher than the original strip I had before. Now, the Blinds along the dining room and the kitchen can not move freely back and forth because it gets caught up on the higher than normal transition strip!!

    Majic is not responsible for blinds not fitting. We have given solutions to correct this. Blinds are made to be cut and they can just be trimmed to fit appropriately.

    I signed a contract and agreement with Majic Window Company on March 24, 2025. At the signing I was concerned about how our existing gutter guards would be handled and reinstalled - in fact, I even went to the shed and brought brought out one piece of gutter guard to show the salesman. I was assured that the gutter guards could simply be bent and then reattached without a problem. The new roof was installed on April 11, 2025 and when the installation was just about complete the installation supervisor showed. I pointed out the areas I was concerned about and since then I have noticed another area. The installation supervisor used my ladder along with the roofing crew to look at one area. They worked on it but I'm still not pleased with the workmanship between the roof and the gutter guards. In my opinion, what happened is the roofing crew got a little too aggressive in bending the gutter guards and where that has occurred debris is accumulating in the gutter guards that never accumulated in the past. I've contacted Majic several times by phone and text, sent pictures of the initial areas, sent pictures of my existing gutter guards, been assured that some one would call me back. No one at Majic has made an effort to discuss this matter to resolve my concerns. I have asked them by phone and text to simply send someone over and look over my situation and concerns that address their workmanship. As mentioned earlier - I made note of my concerns with the gutter guards right from the start - in fact, I had the salesman put a note in the contract to exercise extreme care with the gutter guards.

    11/13/2024 I left a deposit with window company for new screens total of 3 for my condo $188.00 half These windows have a 50-year warranty, I was told when ordering the warranty would be transferred into my name for $100.00 when the screens were installed.The guy came out to install screen and the track was worn out, he said no problem it will be cover under warranty. Until he gets on the phone and his big boss says real nasty you don't have a warranty. and I would have to pay more. I have never been treated to poorly by a person, he said he was the president and the owner. He said he didn't have to transfer the warranty, This is telling me that this company is in trouble, any other window company would of ***** taken care of this problem .

    Majic Window comes out to do inspects before doing any sort of warranty transfers. Screens are not part of the warranty we only warranty manufacturer defects, not damages or things that have been broken or not properly taken care of on the windows. The service *** that was at the house was trying to do the best he could with the information that provided to us. Which we were not told that you were missing more pieces than just the screens. You only paid 50% of the balance for the screens and still owe the remaining 50%. We are not doing the warranty transfer due to the behavior shown to our *** that was only trying to help.

    We offered to get a quote to replace the screen track for the Patio door which is not covered under the manufacturer warranty for defects. We chose not to because of the way our service tech and company were spoke to.

    The **** that they sent out to the house said that track would be covered under the warranty no problem . He said we just need to transfer the warranty into my name  . He also said to write in the check memo ****** screens and ****** for the warranty transfer.

       I went into the house to write the check ,and I walked out and the **** had his boss on the phone ,and he tells me that the defective track would not be covered under the 50 yr. warranty. Extremely rudely said  'you don't have a warranty' and he would not transfer it into my name as promised .

       I have two other witnesses and possible ring camera footage of conversation .

    All I want what was promised fix the screen track and transfer the warranty,I don't think I'm being unreasonable .

    In July we placed an order for window replacement and were told installation would be a couple of months out. It is now October and we don't even have a date scheduled for installation. We did have someone come out and take measurements and each time we call for an update we are told four weeks. At this time, we cannot even get an answer to our calls. We are beginning to doubt there will be any window installation at all. If not, we want our deposit back.

    Majic windows constantly violates the no-soliciting signs in our neighborhood. Even after being repeatedly asked to leave they still go door-to-door, violating our peace and privacy.

    I had my windows installed on 12-10-2023. July of 2024 I wanted to clean my windows and screens. I tried getting the screens out, but after much frustration 2 screens wouldn't come out,2 tabs broke and now I'm unable to get the screens back in.I called customer service 5 times with no response. On 8-7-24 I emailed the vice president,****** ******. He responded the same day. He asked that I call him the next day in the afternoon. I did call and I had to leave a message. I called again the next day. I emailed him again 8-8-24 then again on 8- *****. That was my last email expressing my ***************** this point I'm so beside myself if I open my windows bugs fly in through the opening where screen doesn't close. After spending $10,000 on my windows I expected service when I need it. I just want my screens to work.Sincerely, ******* ********

    ** 2/29/24 I placed a deposit of $2160 for the installation of a new shower. At the time, measurements were taken and I was told a second measurement would be scheduled at a later date. Additionally, the sales **** **** wrote on the contract the right to cancel was waived because the order was being expedited. By 6/10/24 I was still waiting for the second measurement and placed a call to my sales **** asking when we could expect the 2nd measurement. I had to leave a message; no response was given by the **** ** 6/11/24 I called the installation department and was told the paperwork had been misplaced causing a delay. A second measurement was completed and I was told installation would be some time in August, though no date was set. ** 8/19/24 we called the installation department again because no installation date had been set. I wanted my $2160 refunded. I was informed that the contract stated we have 3 business days to cancel and we would not be refunded. I was also given the option of speaking to a manager or scheduling the installation for November. I asked to speak with a manager, at which time the call was disconnected and a manager never called. I feel that Majic has not fulfilled the obligations of the contract to expedite and complete the contract within reasonable expectation, the cancellation clauses not withstanding, and a prompt return of our money is warranted.

    My reasons for rejecting this response is well represented in the initial complaint.  If after 6 month of placing an order for the installation of a shower, the necessary materials have not be delivered, that leaves me with little confidence the job will be completed. Additionally, no timeframe was given as to when an installation date would take place.  If Majic is able to provide an installation date that would go some distance toward resolving the issue. Until then, I consider my request of the return of my money reasonable.

    Due to the recent rain we have had in ******** in May 2024 we had a window leaking lots of water. Majic Windows had prepped the window fo replacement by taking out the screen and cutting around the window. We complained about the screen at first with no support for replacement. I found out While inspectimg the leak what they had done. the finally sent out a tech and he confirmed the issue. Major wouldn't return my calls for a month until I set up an appointment to go to their offices. They called me that morning and said I couldn't prove it so they were doing nothing. I don't have the tools to do the damage they did

    We went out to investigate the cause of the water leak on 6-20-24. Our service tech took pictures of the window that is leaking that is not one of our windows. The customer claims our install team from 2021 removed a window and reinstalled it. The job was installed in  2021 and the customer has never had an issue until now and it is not one of our windows. We are not responsible for this window.

    Rhe respose is unacceptable.  I did complain ro the original sales person  within two months.  He laughed it off and said he would get back with us.  I wasn't concerned until we had a heavy rain and our floor was drenched.  When I looked at the cause,  I found out the window had been prepped removing the seals and cutting out the flanges.  Majic sent out a technician and he agreed.
