01/06/2022 On November 13, 2021, I had an appointment for an eye exam and to get glasses as covered by my **************** (DavisVision) as covered by the ****** I explained to the Optometrist that all I wanted was one vision on the top and a closer vision on the bottom. After the exam, she suggested Progressive Lenses and said some people couldnt get used to them. When I went out into the display area, I told the girls that that the frames that are covered by my insurance plan would be OK. None of the frames had prices or price codes on them. They picked out a frame and said it would work. Then we sat at the table and she added everything up. I asked what the **** came to and she said $340 and printed out the receipt. It only has the abbreviated descriptions with codes. I paid on my **** Card. On November 30, 2021, I went to pick up my glasses. The man adjusted them and they were terrible seeing out of. He said to give it a couple weeks to get used to. I took them home and tried them on and the nose cushion fell off (no screw!). I called the store and they said bring them back. I could only see clearly out of a small window in the center of the lens. On December 3, 2021, I took them back. I called them up to cancel the glasses altogether and he said Too late, the order has already bent sent out, that the order was sent out in 20 seconds. I was at the Westland store and they had my glasses as turned in!. I was told they don't make Executive lenses anymore. They were ordering lenses I didn't want. I asked for a refund for the cheaper frames and was told No money will be refunded even if I picked out cheaper frames and lenses. The ************ was only charged for the exam and cheap frames. Fortney had me pay for more expensive frames and the cost of the lenses.I ended up paying for frames I didn't want and lenses I didn't want.
