    Newrez may be the worst when it comes to Mortgage Servicing and ***************** ********************** did not make payment to my insurance provider and not once was I able to speak to anyone at the company even after sending messages to the company. I ended up having to speak to someone catering saying that I wanted to purchase a new home, and told them I needed to speak to someone about my insurance. The representative shared with me that they also have heard many complaints about this and their management has done nothing to address it. He eventually got me to the insurance department which was closed each time that I called. Overall the worst customer service of any ********************** company over ever dealt with.

    **************** gave me false/misconstrued information. Went into forbearance and told me all I had to do was call back and start my payments up again. They refuse to provide recordings to prove this! Shady company all around!!!

    Newrez has the WORST customer service in the ********************** They have been so slow releasing funds, my contractor is at risk of losing his business. My homeowners insurance check was submitted on 9/23/24 and it is now 11/12/24 and I am still waiting for the final disbursement. It seems every step takes 8-10 days to accomplish. That turnaround time is unacceptable and terrible customer service. There is no recourse for customers at all. We are at their mercy. Absolutely sinful. How do these companies get to stay in business??? If I could rate them zero stars, I would.

    I contacted the insurance department of Newrez . I instructed them NOT to pay out of my escrow ***** to the current insurance company, because Im switching Insurance Companies at the end of the month. Guess What? Newrez went and payed it out anyway!! When I contacted the insurance/Loan Department, representative Aldeer informed me thats its that they can Do.. I ask for a supervisor, he put me on hold and he returned and said that doesnt have one . So due to their incompetence my 3700 is gone . After I press the issue to speak with someone I was place on hold for 15 mins. Then I got a supervisor, whom didnt know why I was transferred to her . This insurance department lack training and influence to get things done .There is no accountability for their poor job performance . Newrez needs to just do better and not justify incompetence on the job. Also correct your mistakes. Like an upstanding company should. And not work like a bunch of amateurs. Hope they dress well for court

    Have had NewRez since 2016. Every year I need to increase my *************** Policy coverage, due to what I have been told as "Increased Cost of Materials." The process is absurd. I need to contact my ***************** to have them increase the coverage to the requested amount NewRez demands. Then upload the Policy Documents to the NewRez Insurance Express online document uploader website. I had done so numerous times. ************************** receives the payment and is shorted with a balance left over. Now I am almost back to square one.This year, 2024, has been the worst. NO ONE ANSWERS at the ******************** phone number (NewRez) and NO ONE CALLS you back when the system asks do you wish to leave a call back number. PLEASE GET BETTER!

    I have had a mortgage from this company for a few years. The mortgage servicing has been good till all this time. However, when I had a hail damage on the roof of my single family home and my insurance company mailed me a check for the repairs, that is when my opinion about the customer service by ********************** Mortage drastically fell. Specifically, I was directed to their ************************ This is a department where you will never get a customer representative on the phone line. I have tried multiple days (hours everyday) calling them. It is very frustrating, I am holding a check which needs to be cashed, Newrez (the ********************** needs to endorse it, and I just cannot contact them.Really terrible customer service from their ***********************

    This company refuses to take accountability when their employees spread false information. Ive been a member with this company for almost two years and every time I have to make a call to them its one headache after another. Today being the most recent even in a long line of screwups. I spoke to an employee of this company in late ****, and expressed not being able to make that months payment at the time, and the employee I spoke with at the time talked with me about some options for getting caught up. We decided on a repayment plan where the amount due for **** would be split up, and applied to the amount due for the following three months of July, August, and September. We set the arrangement up, and we move through July, Im still a little behind and so today, I call to make my payment for July and August, and they tell me that Im 3 months late. After fighting for literally 30 minutes to be heard, and to be able to explain to these people what I was originally told, and the program that I was entered into. They told me that because I didnt make some down payment, that was never previously mentioned, that said arrangement was cancelled. I asked them to explain to me how if Im making a down payment (thats the same dollar amount as my mortgage payment I was asking for ***** on) and then paying MORE money than my monthly amount due, is a repayment plan, and they refused. So now on my credit report Ive been labeled 3 months behind. They regularly partner with the VA to prey on first time home buying veterans.
