      Late to the Lake (Caterer)******************************************************************************* Email: ****************************** | Phone: ************ Client Name: ********* ********** (Client), **************************************** Event Date: October 25, 2025- Wedding (the Wedding)Contract Signed: July 25, 2024 (the Contract Date)Caterer scheduled and then cancelled 5 separate tastings in advance of the Wedding, essentially failing to meet her requirements. She made multiple misrepresentations that I relied on to my detriment. She has all of my money and agreed to refund it, but then wouldn't follow through. Then she said she needed time to get the money, but wouldn't agree to a payment arrangement either. I am getting married in days. I had to find a new caterer and she has $6,744.98 of mine. The new caterer was last minute so cost even more - my damages far exceed the $6,744.98. Based upon what I have read on line (that you can find from a simple ****** search), I am not alone. I just want my money back and hopefully to stop this from happening to others. What an awful lead-up to my wedding. I am asking guests to give us gifts early just so we can pay our bills! This is awful!

      Late To The Lake was contracted to provide catering services for my wedding to occur on September 6, 2025. A total payment of $3671.16 was made in installments on 5/2, 5/12, and 8/1/25. Multiple communications occurred between the vendor from the date of the first down payment leading up to the wedding, including a pre-wedding tasting party. On the day of the wedding September 6, the owner ****** ******** contacted me via text to reach out to her but did not indicate there was a problem. As I arrived on site for the wedding, we learned that the catering services had not been provided. There was not food for the 100 guests that was agreed-upon and the agreed-upon time for delivery. While there was an attempt to provide some food, it did not follow the agreed upon menu, quantity, or even items that had been ordered. In multiple follow up conversations with Miss ********, We heard a variety of reason as to why she was unable to fulfill the contract, including power outages, non-delivery of ordered food items and inability to appropriately staff the event. We learned that another wedding she had scheduled on the same date in the same town also did not receive services. We subsequently discussed with her a refund policy for the catering services which she agreed to in written form and an amount. She has failed to reply and respond to the payment plan, indicating that this was out of her control and she has no money to be able to pay. We have made multiple attempts since September 6 to mediate and rectify the solution with her. She encourages individuals to dispute things with their credit card or bank companies to get them to reimburse the funds, including ****** and *****, as she does not have money to reimburse. These entities have tried to collect. Late to The Lake is unable to fulfill the contractual obligations and issue reimbursement based on the agreed upon payment plan.

      Vender accepted job to cater my granddaughters wedding event for September ******. Vender emailed my granddaughter at 5:30AM day before wedding to cancel. Late to the Lake had been paid in full in advance for services that were not provided. Unfortunately, no refund has been received. Vender states that refund has been credited back to credit card, unfortunately no such credit has been received. Not a business to be trusted.
