      Please avoid using them if possible. They are the worst out there. Will tell you one thing on the phone and do something else. There is a reason they are not BBB accredited. They would never pass the vetting process.

      I co-signed for a vehicle for my oldest granddaughter to help her get started in life. A 2014 ****** Sienna on 10/06/2023. On 04/22/2025 the vehicle was repossessed and taken away to where, I still dont know. And sent me another letter stating that if I pay 700 dollars before 07/16/2025, that the car will be released to me. I On the afternoon of July ******* I transferred the payoff amount of 15K to the redemption department at Credit Acceptance and was told to call back the next day to arrange a pickup date. I reserve a car trailer for that purpose. When I called the next morning, they told me that the auction closes half days on Fridays, and to call back on Monday. I called back and was told the car was sold at auction. I was extremely upset and voiced my disappointment. They offered to refund the 15K, and I accepted. After I received my refund I was waiting for the balance from what the vehicle sold for at auction. With no reply from them, I called for the sale amount and was told to call back for the amount. While waiting I received another letter stating that the vehicle will be sold at auction on 08/02/2025! ***! I called and talked to them today, 07/25/2025 at 0930 and was rudely told the van has not sold yet, and to pay 700 to get it back. Is the treatment of customers still allowed to be happening in this country that I served 20 years in the Navy for? Judging by the other responses I have read about this company, something needs to be done to hold them accountable. I hope to get a reply from you about this matter. My only future responses to them will be in the form of a bankruptcy. Thanks in advance for reading.

      Made a payment on line and charged to do this. But charged $10 if payment made on phone. Then they called and said we didn't make a payment. We keep records of all bills in a ledger since 2005 to include date made, where, amount and confirmation number. The woman was very rude from the get go. She said our payment was 2 days late. She was so rude I hung up on her bcz I do not need to be spoken to like a child. So we went on line and made the payment. If I am told I will have anything to include another vehicle with Credit Acceptance I will NOT use this creditor ever again!! Rude, unprofessional, and the payment was made so it was a mistake they made. Not us!!

      Not flexible with payment options. Charges an additional $3.75 fee if paying on line with your bank account. Does not allow you to opt out of snail mail and charges ridiculous interest on used autos. Not to mention they are not a BBB accredited business, which means they do not use best practices in loans and banking.

      I had auto pay set but for one day I call in a payment with the understanding that my auto pay would be reactive on the 20th of that month, but apparently it wasn't I had no idea that the money wasn't being processed until the repo guy up to my door, ( conveniently CA office was closed) thankfully I was able be to get the car back the day but now I'm playing catch up with my other bills. It's my fault to think that CA is tach savvy enough to know how auto pay works or send notifications, maybe bc CA cater to poor ppl I shouldn't expect too notch service . I appreciate CA giving poor ppl a chance to fix their credit but in return we get surpur service,** has definitely earned it's 2.6 review rating.

      They certainly take advantage of thise who would otherwise not get financed. I ******** paying $42,000 for a $19,000 car that was 5 years old.
