    Possible identity theft alert. On Nov 3, 2022, I met with **** the owner of Fix-it Bridgman computer repair shop and left him my laptop that needed to be repaired. He downloaded all my personal information onto his business computer (s.s#, birth certificate, federal tax return statements, financial info, to name just a few).I retrieved my fixed laptop Nov 5th, MINUS ALL FILES. He told me they were being downloaded and he would contact me when they were completed. It has now been 4 WEEKS with no reply by him.I have left 5 detailed voice messages on his business phone, including my phone number requesting a call back. None was received. Figuring he had caller ID and was not picking up my calls, I called him Tues using another phone. Guess who answered.While speaking to him, he said he was able to see my files on his computer and was going to get them downloaded and send them to me. He said he would "contact me in 1 hr." As typical, no return call. Its now 48+ hrs since that call.I left him yet another voice message yesterday. Again I left him my phone number and again...no reply.I texted him today stating the ramifications that will result if I am not contacted today by 5:00 pm. It is now 5:16 PM. No reply.The idea that he has all my personal information at his disposal, is not a secure feeling. He may "say" he has deleted all my personal files but there is no way of knowing without hiring a lawyer,His destructive actions (or lack of) may need to warrant further investigations.Thank you for your assistance.**************

    I responded to this by contacting the Client November 2nd 2022.
    It was a lack of communication on my part , I explained that no data has been retrieved from her hard drive as it is failing.
    That we are still working on data recovery.
    I refunded her the repair fee charge to her on the work replacing the failing drive with a new one.
