    On October 17, 2024, McEntire Pilates (of ***************, **) charged me $5,265 as pre-payment for online pilates sessions with the owner, Trent *********************** through April 30, 2025. At $195 per session, that covered 27 sessions. After 8 sessions, in January 2025 I told Mr. ********************** the work was not helping and I wanted to stop. From my point of view, my work with him was done at that point. There was no written contract or any mention whatsoever of a contract between him and me. I have detailed notes on our sessions; there is no mention of any so-called contract. The only written document is the invoice and receipt for $5,265 stating in big letters at the top: 6 Months -- Sessions with ***** Through April 30, '25."In June 2025, I began formally requesting a refund for the sessions that were pre-paid but not used. The 19 sessions not held were worth $3,705. I used email, text, and snail mail to request the refund. For three months ********************** failed to respond.After I sent letters to some senior instructors at his business, he finally responded on September 11, 2025. His response was that he was operating according to a contract and owes me nothing. He has not produced a written contract, signed by me, to support his case for keeping my $3,705. Meantime I have had to spend dozens of hours of my precious time trying to find ways to get this resolved.**********************'s behavior constitutes unfair business practice that ***** the consumer.
