    We got a insurance claim on our roof and siding couple years ago and now in the past couple years been fighting with now 6 roof leaks and now 4 of them has been on the flat roof on top of my house and they kept trying to fix it and fit it but it still leaks. I have other people up there and tell me its wrong and tell Tyler home improvement its wrong to start over but they wont! My siding falls off all the time and dont know how many time they fix that issue

    Lets start off with The Siding. Yes we installed siding back in 2018 on this house since then weve had two pieces of siding fall off the very top piece which does not nail in. It just snaps in and every time it has came off weve came out and fixed it under their warranty at no cost to the customer, now as far as the roof goes again, we did this project back in 2018. The shingle portion of the roof has a 30 year manufacturers warranty on it. The flat roof has a 10 year manufacturer warranty on it all back with an 18 month warranty on labor , or if it is a manufacture defect, we extend the labor warranty out to match the manufacturer warranty now between Christmas and New Years. I received a phone call from *** that his roof was leaking. He called my Personal Cell phone while I was on vacation, I sent one of my roofing technicians out there to look at it that technician looked at it and said there is no way I can fix this. There is way too much damage to it, and this particular situation was above his pay grade, so we rescheduled for Thursday for another one of my managers to come out and take a look at it. Unfortunately, by Thursday he had gotten sick and called out sick so I showed up there Saturday morning after getting home late Friday to look at the situation I sent one of my technicians up with tar to temporarily patch the leaks and take pictures of the roof and then told *** what my thoughts were, and that we would be back Monday after we were able to get supplies from the supply house, this was before me being able to see what was going on with the roof and why it was leaking after we got into looking at everything and as you can see in the pictures above, you can tell that this roof membrane has taken impact from large blunt items such as tree limbs and that the membrane was ripped off the metal ripping the weld that was clearly welded properly leaving part of the membrane on the metal again showing properly. The metal was attached to the membrane. I called *** back to tell him that he had wind and storm damage again and he needed to contact the insurance company for an insurance claim on his home  as much as we Would love to be able to fix this for him. It was not our fault. It was mother nature.

    As you were talking about weather and tree damage! We live in ******** and your product should withstand Michigan weather. As of tree damage, we have no trees near our house that a tree would damage our roof as you can see in those pictures! This is not our insurance company claim, its your product and workers fault. Your manager that went up told me they did it wrong and if it was his choice he would start all over!

    Tyler home improvements sent both the bbb and the homeowners pictures showing the storm damage to the flat roof. we can not be held responsible for the damage that has been done. I understand the frustration at this situation but as many can confirm weather has been getting worse in ********************

    On November 21, 2022, I signed a contract with Tyler Home Improvement to to do work on my house due to a fire. They said because it was at the holidays and end of the year that they do start my work after the 1st of the year. I gave them ******* dollars at this time. When the New year started I started calling with no answer . Around February 14 th is when I finally heard from the manager. ******* never answered me after being ran around I contacted to get my money back. I was told by ******* that the money was in the hands of the accountant. I called for months trying to get my money back. They finally refused to take my call. They owe me ******* dollars and I want it back. I dont trust them nor do I want them to do any work .

    Unfortunately, this is not what truly transpired customer did purchase a kitchen and bathroom remodeling project from Tyler home improvements. She did make a $4000 down payment and was supposed to make another payment upon starting the project. after about a month into the process the customer decided to put a hold off on the project Because her kitchen cabinet quote came back higher than she anticipated so she wanted to wait until she could gather the funds. Meanwhile we had purchased all the materials that we were supposed to supply for the job. After several months we reached out to her to try to assist her in getting a cabinet price within her budget she at that point said she just wanted to cancel the contract. We informed her by doing so  That she was subject to the restock fees  of the entire contract which would equal her down payment plus $409. We offered to do just the bathroom portion for the price. We agreed upon as a substitute so that she wouldnt lose out completely on this project. She declined due to budget issues. She said she would put the project off on hold.She said she understood now it has been an entire another year and now is requesting a refund. The customer did not cancel with the three day right to cancel the contract. Im therefore subject to pay for the restock fees and cost to Tyler home improvements for the work time and materials we put into the project.

    I am rejecting this response because:This company did absolutely nothing for the money, they rejected most calls made from me to them about my complaint and even the manager agreed the money should be refunded. ******* at a point told me he sent this matter to accounting making me believe he would refund me my money back. The 3 day in said contract was considered null and void with the verbal we agreed ; that after the first of the year they would contact me about my project. I started calling January 2023, no respond, it was mid February when I finally got a hold of someone. Even then Tyler Home Improvements made no hast to get my project started. I had a deadline date for insurance money to be done by November 2023:, which this company  has caused me grave stress as well as hardship. By March as well into April Tyler Home Improvement still never got started even with the basic of my project. Never contacted me for a start time the basically wasted my time. ******* is a fast talker as well as a guy who will bull dose anyone he feel weak to buy his c*** When he said that accounting would be dealing with this matter I really thought that was true. *** later I spoke to a lady in suppose to be accounting who informed me she knew absolutely nothing about it and she would contact ******* and let him know that I called. This ******* went on for months. Why would anyone want to do business with peop or a company that responds like this? I was so done by April due to my deadline November 2023. This stress did affect my level of living,working etc Causing other health issues for me. Tyler Home Improvements only came into my home once to talk about my project they got a rough measurement and the second time was to sigh the contract November 21,2022. The manager assured me after New Year 2023 I would be first on list for projects to do. First of year came, I had to go into deceptive mode to get a hold of them which is how they wasted my time.They really need to give me back the ********************************************************** completed. *******, is not being truthful in his responds.

    Unfortunately, as we stated before, this is why we have contracts and agreements this is not what transpired yes the customer hired us in the timeline and we were supposed to start after the first of the year. This gives us time to coordinate order purchase materials on our end plus finish up other jobs that we have scheduled before this job, we were all ready to go to work, and the customer did not have her kitchen cabinetry. She proceeded to tell us that the kitchen company that she was hired hired to purchase the cabinets from Miss quoted her by a large dollar amount we offered other avenues to find more affordable cabinets  Which ******************* took several months to explore these options, and then said she no longer had the funds available to do the kitchen. We offered to do just the bathroom so that she would not lose out on any deposit. She informed us that she understood by canceling she was subject to cancellation fees, and was willing to do whatever at this point just wanted to cancel  so reluctantly, I told her I would go ahead and process her cancellation if thats what she really chooses to do and that we would figure out what we had into cost into her job, and if there was a difference she would receive a refund she was then told a later date that our cost  Were over $800 more than what she paid is a down payment

    Following a horrible storm in 2020, Tyler Home Improvement was utilized to complete repairs on my home. The work began the following year. My experience with this company has been extremely frustrating and has resulted in significant damage to my property.Here is a summary of the issues I have encountered:1. Lack of Craftsmanship: - The roofing work performed by Tyler Home Improvement is of subpar quality, leading to leaks and extensive water damage inside my home. No flashing was used and the roof is easily lifted up as it was not secured at the edges. - The siding installation was done incorrectly, and sections of siding continue to fall off, posing a safety hazard and further damage to my property.2. Lack of Communication and Response: - I have attempted to contact Tyler Home Improvement multiple times through phone calls, their website's contact form and requested calls to address these issues, but I have received no response. I have requested their insurance information to pursue this issue - again, no response. ********* page has shown no activity for the past two years, which further raises concerns about their commitment to customer satisfaction and their business's legitimacy - especially since messaging is an option.3. Lack of Pride in Their Work: - It is evident that Tyler Home Improvement lacks pride in their work, as the quality of the repairs and installations is far below industry standards. - Their inaction and failure to address these issues demonstrate a lack of responsibility and accountability.Due to the poor quality of the roof and siding work, my home insurance company is threatening to cancel my policy. Estimates for repairing the roof alone exceed $2,000. This situation has caused me significant financial stress and has put the safety and integrity of my home at risk.I have attempted to resolve these issues amicably by requesting a call from the company before pursuing legal action

    This loan was taken out with Amerifirst In October 2022. The loan was a 203 (k) FHA loan. Those loans are always assigned a consultant through FHA to make sure the lender's interest is protected as well as the borrower. The consultant is bound by FHA rules to physically inspect the property on which repairs are being made. Once the consultant signs off on the repairs a draw request is made and the party performing the work is then paid. Specifically, according to publication revised on 2/27/23 by FHA the role of the consultant is as follows: " The Consultant plays a guiding role throughout the rehabilitation process, acting as the liaison between the homeowner, contractor(s) and lender. The Consultant inspects the property and prepares a feasibility study, architectural exhibits, work write-**** cost estimates, draw request inspections, and change orders; and ensures that all work is performed in compliance with FHA requirements. Any Consultant who performs work on a 203(k) project must be listed on the ****approved 203(k) Roster." Herein lies one of the problems. Mr. ************************* is in fact listed on the ****approved Roster as an active FHA consultant. He operates out of his business TMR- ******************** Attempts have been made to seek the assistance of ************** but he has been unwilling and unable to help. Furthermore, the most important function for the protection of the lender and the borrower has been completely neglected as ************** has failed to perform one inspection verifying satisfactory completion of the work done. Consequently, I Have shoddy plumbing that is done with ****** of the ****** already paid. When I lodged my complaints and concerns I was told, and I have text messages, that I would need to pay more money for Tyler Home Improvements to return to my home and make the necessary repairs. I have spoken to *********************** at Union Home Mortgage in ************ ****, and voiced my concerns. I have spoken to ************** and I Have spoken with Tyler Home Improvements. I have pictures of the work that is not completed. I Have receipts for floor that I have had to purchase and install as well as drywall. The complaints are many and the solutions have been few. I am a 60 year old senior citizen. It has been apparent to me that they are simply bilking me fore draw after draw without properly completing or inspecting the work because they think I am just an old man with no one around to help me. It is nothing short of elderly abuse. I can be reached to give further commentary on this entire matter from beginning to end. There is much more, but I am simply highlighting the very most egregious. I fully intend on lodging complaints with the BBB, Amerifirst, FHA, and the ********** of **** and Professional Licensing with the *****************. I am asking for your assistance as quickly as possible. FHA Case Number 263-6910-119-702 1 I am not computer savvy to upload documents but I Have supporting evidence to share with you

    ******************** I do not know why you are upset with Tyler Home Improvements we have done everything asked of us. The project keeps getting put on hold because of you and you delaying us. And elderly abuse come on that a joke and a ploy for attention. You have your *************** the ******************** and hud consultants involved in this project and they all agree. Tyler Home Improvements can not control the citys codes nor the ***************'s policy's. sorry for the confusion as always we are here to help.  We have left you over 10 messages for you 3 for you daughter and 2 for this new person your working with so the complaint should be on you and what you need to do so we can be done with this project.     Hired this company Tyler Home Improvement Company this year in early June 2022. Contracted to order and replace our windows, fascia soffits and gutters. Delivery of windows was to be in mid August 2022. After calling company when they didnt deliver nor call on there own to notify us we left several messages to contact us myself or my husband they called once after a month to say delayed and contacted the manufacturer and would let me know when by end of day when they were going to be delivering them. Well it is December 15. and nothing. We saw home improvement company at neighbors recently spoke to project manager who said he would look into this also saw company at local fairgrounds drumming up more business and they said would look into it. I called them in October and said they could at least get the soffits and fascia done. I did tell him if he didnt I would contact attorney. He did call a couple days later and contracted a company to do the soffits and fascia but they didnt do the board under that even though they quoted us to cover that. No gutters or windows though and nothing. They required half down at that time. I want contact with information on windows and gutters when will finish job exactly.

    House got hit by tree. Had insurance claim for the damage, Signed a contract with them, they did work not stated in the contract, now Im out of 18,850$ that I put down, and the company is now stating they need more money. No building permit was pulled before starting structural work, I paid to have PCI come out and inspect the work accordingly to the contract, and found that they indeed broke our contract.
