      I am filing this formal complaint regarding the mishandling of my mortgage account, which was recently transferred to UWM (United Wholesale Mortgage), ***** Since the transfer, I have made multiple unsuccessful attempts to initiate and complete my mortgage payment. I logged into the online portal and successfully entered my autopay information. However, the payment has not been debited from my account.When attempting to verify or modify the autopay settings, I continue to receive the following error message:Unfortunately, your autopay cannot be modified at this time. Please contact support for assistance: You cannot modify your Autopay Settings at this time due to the delinquency status of the account.This is extremely concerning, as I have been proactive in trying to make the required payment. Additionally, I have made numerous attempts to reach a customer service representative through the provided phone number. Each time, I encounter extended wait times with no ability to speak to a live person. As of the date of this complaint (August 7, 2025), I have been on hold for more than 20 minutes without resolution.On July 15, 2025, UWMs system initiated a bank trace and submitted a $0.00 debit request to my checking account. Despite this request, the payment has yet to be processed, and I remain unable to complete the transaction manually. I have also refrained from attempting a phone payment because the system warns that doing so may result in duplicate charges if the autopay processes later.I am requesting immediate support to resolve this matter. I am making every good-faith effort to pay my mortgage, but the lack of responsiveness and system limitations have left me without a reliable option. I have received a statement due to no fault of my own telling me that I have 2 months late!I am concerned this situation could impact my credit, which would be unjust given my repeated efforts to resolve the issue. It's pathetic!

      Im extremely disappointed with United Wholesale Mortgage. I set up automatic payments through their system and reasonably believed my mortgage was being paid on time. Unfortunately, the auto-pay never actually processed and I was never notified of a missed payment until after they had already reported a 30-day late to the credit bureaus.This has caused significant damage to my credit score, despite the fact that I acted in good faith, set up auto-pay, and corrected the issue as soon as I learned about it.There was no email, text, or call alerting me that the payment hadnt gone through something most responsible financial institutions do to help borrowers avoid credit damage. Even a simple notice would have allowed me to address the issue within the 30-day window and avoid this outcome.When I contacted UWM, they refused to remove the late ***** even though Ive never missed a payment before and have a strong history of responsible repayment.UWMs lack of communication and rigid handling of this situation has led to long-term damage to my credit all from a system failure that I was unaware of. Im incredibly frustrated and disappointed with how they treat otherwise good customers.

We can confirm that UWM made several calls to the telephone number on file for your loan and sent you several notices by mail advising that your payment was past due prior to noting your account as 30 days late. If you have evidence that your automatic payments were in fact enabled and had the available balance at the time of the transaction we ask that you provide this documentation to UWM's Servicing Team for review. If UWM receives sufficient evidence of your claims we will be happy to review your account for credit correction.

      If I could leave zero stars, I would. Ive asked every agent thats repeatedly contacted me to stop, yet I still receive multiple calls a day and after telling them to stop calling, their agents seem to not care and keep doing their sales pitch. This is my last attempt before serving them with a lawsuit for harassment.

      Refinanced my home through them. 2 months in the transfer my loan info to a different part of the same company. Sent a new website for me to use and the site certificates were invalid. Tried calling 2 different numbers and could only talk to bot. Created 2 tickets on the previous site and the just sent me the numbers for the bots (one of which a bot pretending to be a person and was trying to sign me up for medical equipment and failing).

      I have been trying to reach UWM for 3 days either on line or on the phone to no avail when I called I was on hold for 2 hours and I gave up. It told me to go online and they would not log me in although I've had the company for 5 years and always make my *********** one is at either place phone or website but they take my payments readily through my bank and have my address to seen bills to me. I'm really upset with their lack of customer service. There is no zero star.

      Had a great experience when I refinanced and great communication with former servicer of loan. The recent change in servicer has resulted in limited communication and no one seems to have a clue what is going on. One minute I am told to wait until July 2 and I can register and after wasting my time all day attempting to do this I get an email on the 3rd that tells me to wait until July 11. Having made biweekly payments with the previous servicer no one can seem to tell me if this is possible with the new company. So disappointed having to waste my time trying to get answers that they have no clue about.

      They are a very shady company. I asked for a payoff because I was selling my home and I received it. However, “someone” requested another payoff after the payment had been made and sent. Not only did UWM NOT post my payment, they marked me as late. When we FINALLY were able to get to a live person, we were advised that the check had NOT been posted but that we did not PIF. Once I did the work and found out why they were saying that we still owed money, they said that ‘someone’ requested a payoff after the one I requested so now we owed that difference. I had the representative on the line with me that had sent the payoff check asking them WHO requested that because they did not. UWM could NOT provide that information and stated ‘someone’ did. This company is the WORSE company to get a hold of. You can NEVER get a live person,
      When you do, they are rude or they do not know how to assist. If you use this company, make sure that the payoff given to you the original one is the one that is used to pay off your loan and they don’t try to claim someone else requested a new one so that they can get extra money from us, even though it was paid full already. They are a shady company. Think twice before using them.

      So far I can only rate them based on how easy it was to register my new account.
      However these reviews are VERY bad.
      I'm a brand new customer
      (just refinanced) and loan was assigned to this company.
      Hoping I don't end up with buyers remorse.

      My loan was recently transferred from UWM to a new company. When I called to get more information, their customer service line only allowed me to speak to a robot, and told me to contact my new loan provider, then hung up on me. The catch-22: my loan had been transferred from UWM to UWM. So my loan number had changed, and I was unable to pay, unable to call in to get information, and when I logged in online, it would only show me my old information. I was forced to cold-call random UWM phone numbers I googled, most of who told me they were part of a different division of UWM and couldn't help me. They gave me more different customer service numbers to try and different divisions to contact before I was able to find a person who was able to help. I do appreciate the irony of UWM's motto: making loans easy.... lolllllll what a joke.Oh yeah, my loan is now showing as 18 days late since it's my fault I couldn't pay it on time. They don't even deserve one star.

      United Wholesale Mortgage contacted me, however they never confirmed who I was before releasing personal identifiable information such as my address and date of birth. I told the caller that I didn't approve of him releasing information like my address without confirming who I was first. He then proceeded to spout off other information such as my date of birth and credit score trying to convince me to do business with him. When I told them I didn't approve of the release of my personal identifiable information and I was going to report it, he berated me and because very aggressive.
