1 starNot sure if this company is or is related to my insurance info. Supposedly verifying insurance coverage to loan lenders. In my case, auto loan through big well known credit union. Originally ******** *** hint hint.. Anyways sent me an email saying you need to provide insurance coverage for your refinanced auto loan which i did when i initially did at the initial signing of the loan. Takes you through a verification process with a reference number they give you. Did as asked and completed verification. Says confirmation on 9/12 . One month later received a letter from credit union holding my auto loan. Stating, since you have not provided insurance to ** we tacked on an additional $3054 of coverage to your original loan. Called them said no no no i went through that clown show with MY INSURANCE INFO to verify i do have coverage and have had for years previous. Good think a screen shot the confirmation page after. All good now. But, what a waste of time, as much as writing this complaint to make sure i don't get an additional 3K tacted on to my loan right under my nose. Whoever came up with this circus/clown show website should go back to back yelling on the street corner .( Will work for cardboard and magic marker!!) What a waste of time and scamming energy to try and pull the wool over peoples eyes. At least not mine... **** said..... Yours truly MY 2 CENTS.Review fromAndrew B

1 starThe *** auto pay system is constantly charging multiple times a month. **************** says that it is my mistake for making changes however *** never made a change to the autopay in the past 2 years. In top of multiple withdrawals a month they are charging fees. Called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do about it. They do not care about their customers at all.United Wholesale Mortgage, Inc.

2 starsWe were surprised that our mortgage was sold to a very bad mortgage company called ***************. *************** mortgage company has the VERY WORST reviews and I am troubled they took over. Why United transferred us to such a horrible company? This is deeply troubling and I blame United for not contacting us about choices.United Wholesale Mortgage, Inc.

Hello, please understand that from time to time *** deems it in its interest to transfer the servicing rights of a group of loans. A group of loans with certain characteristics are pooled together for the transfer. We regret to read that the transfer of the servicing of your loan has caused any negative feelings. However, please know we take a number of factors into consideration when selecting a purchaser for a particular servicing transfer including but not limited to customer service and customer experience. We then work diligently with the purchaser to make the transfer as smooth as possible for the borrowers. We also work with the purchaser to ensure a borrowers personal information is protected as part of the transfer process. In addition, under applicable rules, regulations and guidelines, including RESPA, *** may transfer the servicing rights of a loan without borrower approval. If you have any additional questions, please contact us at ************************* Thank you, *** Consumer AdvocateReview fromRon Q

1 starI went through the One mortgage broker. They were great. I signed all the forms to get locked in with *** through the One. I get another disclosure 5 days before closing saying that *** has changed their mind and will charge me extra points for my interest rate, due to an error on their part. The One inquired and asked if this was an error, but I was told *** would not budge on a=charging extra points..............we had a signed contract!! My choice was either to back out and find a new lender (killing the deal), or go with these questionable business practice of ***. I went ahead, but am not happy with this company.I am not impressed with ***'s business practices and the way they treat customers.United Wholesale Mortgage, Inc.

2 starsVery disappointing service. ****************** systems are not built for the amount of volume they cover. No system in place to expedite any complaints or concerns - No way of tracking when requested have been submitted. **** business days to fix a log in issue.- Asking me to provide BANKING INFORMATION over the phone when you can't handle a login in issue does not exactly provide trust. ****************** tries to push people off the phone after following a script instead of seeking to resolve the problem. You have to pull teeth to get someone to look for other solutions.- It's a concern when most gyms have better time line to resolution than a mortgage company.THIS IS ALL HAPPENING WHILE I ATTEMPT MY FIRST PAYMENT.United Wholesale Mortgage, Inc.

1 starTried to set up escrow for almost a year. Everyone gives a diffrent answer anytime I call and ask questions. Very poor and uneducated people. I have already told all of my realtors in my line of business to never send them to UWM. It's unbelievable how bad their customer service is. I'm writing a complaint on this site like a *****. ********************* is ridiculously bad. And the ************** were trained by *************************United Wholesale Mortgage, Inc.

1 starVery poor business practices and questionable customer service. Have been trying for 2 months to payoff mortgage; have had a bank check returned to the bank with no explanation, then managed to payoff most of the loan with a wire transfer, but then was only able to pay the loan down online to a 1 cent balance. Now I'm getting auto-generated letters stating I'm delinquent and have a $20.75 late fee (we're paid 20+ YEARS in advance!) accumulating monthly; on a 1 cent balance. Auto-generated payoff letters state I MUST send a certified check to ** for the 1 cent balance, plus $20.75 late fee , plus a $30 recording fee I can get no information about. Meanwhile we've got an escrow balance of $1,862.99 at UWM; who knows when we'll get that back. It's ironic that when calling the phone is answered with the slogan "lending made easy"; easy for who?United Wholesale Mortgage, Inc.

I have been in contact with various *** departments more than a dozen times in the last 2+ months, trying to payoff the mortgage; I shouldn't have to call the Consumer Advocate Team, they should know by now one of their customers is having a problem with their company. That's one of the problems; it seems to be that not all communications are registered/logged; no record of what was said seems to be kept; and none of the various departments seem to communicate with each other. The second problem is the business practices/policies; why (in 2022) must I send a certified check IN THE MAIL to close the account, when I can make a several thousand dollar payment online? A third problem is that I'm getting numerous auto-generated notices and letters that are just wrong; we're not delinquent, and the *** website is demanding a payment that IT WILL NOT ACCEPT.All this becomes really irritating when a little research reveals the *** is owned by **************** and his brother; and that they and the company are worth 4+ billion. *************** has given himself a $16 million dollar bonus in addition to his salary, and donated $30+ million to ************** basketball. How about spending some of that money on updating your business, and maybe spending more time monitoring that business? Loan number **SSN**.Review fromA. Masters

1 starHORRIBLE!!! I am a new borrower since we refinanced in March *********************************** May 2022. I have used other mortgage companies with no problems. This is by far the worst mortgage lender I have ever worked with. They disabled autopay on my account without emailing me. Why would you disable autopay anyways if YOU WANT YOUR PAYMENT ON TIME!?!?!?! I added it back again and they said it takes two months for payments to be auto-paid like what? 2 whole months? what's the point in autopay. I still don't trust it will work so I will have to check every month to make sure it's paid. Dealing with this whole disaster my July payment showed up late and then they reported me to credit agencies for non-payment. Me with EXCELLENT credit. My rating has dropped to borderline poor. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I am ALWAYS on time for my payments. THIS IS A ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! now it will take years to repair. I have tried working with them to fix the situation, but they refuse to assist. STAY FAR AWAY IF YOU CAN!United Wholesale Mortgage, Inc.

UWM responds regardless of their messed up Autopay system and communication that they REFUSE TO UPDATE THE REPORT TO THE CREDIT BUREAU ABOUT A LATE PAYMENT. MIND YOU THEY ARE THE **** THAT ENABLED MY AUTOPAY AFTER I SET IT UP. PLEASE STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THEM. THEY RESPOND THAT THEY WILL CONTACT US, BUT THEY CONTACT US TELLING US THAT THE REQUEST TO UPDATE CREDIT INFO IS DENIED...SO SEVERAL YEARS OF CREDIT REPAIR IS IN MY NEAR FUTURE BECAUSE OF THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY....PEOPLE PLEASE HEED THIS WARNING, THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!Review fromClare M.

1 starFurious with this company!!! Every time I call I explode with anger. I have been calling since 12/2021 and its now 8/11/22. I had to purchase additional flood insurance which I did. Then I was told its not enough. Every insurance agent tells me I have way more than enough. Every time I call the customer support its like Groundhog Day and the convo ends with them sending me in a new direction that quickly fizzles out. Finally got a supervisor 3 months ago. Said to give it 48 hours. Call back after a few weeks and I was told to wait till Aug 11 well its Aug 12 I called and she threw out some new number my mortgage was going to be and directed me to contact FIMA to get some new document!? Finally got out of her not a single person had looked into my issue yet Meanwhile they keep taking out additional flood policies and I have to pay them every month. I am sickened by this company.United Wholesale Mortgage, Inc.

5 starsI currently have 2 Mortgages with UWM, and could not be happier. I did not have a choice, as they are a wholesale lender, but am happy, in comparison to some of my previous mortgage Companies. The application process was smooth, and in both cases took less than 30 days to go from application to signing. If I ever get another mortgage, I will ask my Broker to use UWMUnited Wholesale Mortgage, Inc.
