- Advertising Review:
On November 17, 2022, BBB requested that the company substantiate, modify, or discontinue its advertising claims on the company’s website. The website advertises “one year limited warranty on all of our plantings”, “as Unilock Authorized Contractors, we provide a three year limited warranty on all of our brick paver and manufactured retaining wall systems". While the business did respond, the business has failed to make the requested modifications to its advertising.
According to the BBB Code of Advertising Section 20. Warranties or Guarantees, when an advertisement references a warranty or guarantee, “the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to sale at the advertiser’s location, viewed on the advertiser’s website or, in the case of mail or telephone order sales, made available free on written request.”
