    We cancelled our reservations for camping from 6/21/2024 to 6/24/2024 after finding out they lost their KOA franchise and reading online complaints about the owners and the camp ground. He owes us a refund of $135.00 that he says his machine won't allow him to return to our **** card. He has promised to send me a check twice, but I haven't seen it. Today I told him I was going to fi;e a complaint with the Michigan Attorney General. He snarled at me and laughed and said "Yeah, I know her, she's a bitch! You go ahead and call her! and he hung up on me.

    I made a reservation for this camp ground to stay July 4th- July 7th. I paid a 55 dollar deposit. I was never informed verbally this was a non refundable deposit. Its not listed on their website (they actually dont have a working website right now as they are no longer affiliated with KOA. When booking the reservation, I was told they "could not send me an email confirmation but would see when they took the deposit from me". Monday July 1st, my mother had a stroke. I called July 2nd and said I needed to cancel (also explained the reason for the cancelation) and was told I would not be getting my money back. I checked through making sure there was not something listed about not getting a refund if I need to, I can't find anything. I then called the campground July 3rd, asking them about getting my refund as I never received any information or was told that my deposit was non refundable. I spoke to *****. He told me "Well you should just know that as an adult". I then again told him my mother had a stroke which was why we needed to cancel. His response to that was "well you shouldn't had waited until the last minute" and then hung up on me. I get it, it's only $55 but there was no information provided to me that this was non refundable and so they can't just make up a rule over the phone.
