************************* called me when it is the last day to file my appeal and offered a flat fee of $10,000 for the appeal. He said if they decide not to move forward after they review the case, they will return $5000. Also he promised that I would be able to review the document before they file it. He introduced me to Bear *********************** to handle the case. There was no communication whatsoever after that. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and figured that I would not be able to handle the case. I told them the recent diagnosis and asked them to drop the case. They filed *** and SOA. They have not ordered the clerk's paper or any files to review and there was no AOB. However, in the motion to withdraw, they listed the reason as there is no merit like they reviewed my case. They do not know anything about my case. Also they filed the document without me reviewing it. I would like them (1) to correct the reason to drop the case. (2) refund my money minus their hours spent and the payment to the third parties if there is any with detailed job description of their work done and receipts to the third parties because motion to withdraw was dropped before their review. The motion to withdraw was filed on 2/4/22 by *****************************, who I never had any contact with.
