JV generators has provided consistently poor service on my Generac generator. The generator had repeatedly shown a default error code. He has come out several times and reset it to run by switching to manual mode then back to automatic but not corrected the underlying problem. He advised that a bigger gas supply pipe run directly from the gas meter to the generator was needed. It didnt correct the problem. He advised a larger gas meter would be needed and I had one installed. The problem still exists. Due to a mixup at time of registration with Generac he came to my home address not my vacation house where the generator was installed. I paid him for the mixup. After several trips to reset the error message I had to request a ****. He advised his secretary would be updated with the billing address information. They constantly have failed to mail me a bill and I have had to request them. Finally he was rude and stated he was tired of attempting to fix the generator without getting paid promptly. I explained that I have paid every bill that I have received. Due to his problems with billing me and his lack of progress in identifying the underlying issue I have requested a different company respond to make the repairs. None of this work has been done under warranty and I have paid thousands of dollars to JV generators and the problem still remains

Jv Generators did not originally install this generator. The original installer wired the brown out kit wrong. Additionaly they undersized the gas line for the unit. All of which are not covered under warranty.   There was not one problem,  There was multiple problems from when it was unprofessionally installed from day one, Which the customer acknowledged.  Every time there was an issue we made it a priority to get out right away and fix it. And the ultimate reason the generator is having constant issues is it being installed incorrectly.  Jv Generators has been out there every time the customer calld, useslly within ************************************************************************************************************************************** knowledge on how to install it. The problem is not with Jv Generators. The problem is with the installer and generac.  But can you really blame generac when it was hooked up wrong to begin with?

I am rejecting this response because: I admit I did have my general contractor hook up the Generac Generator. An electric supply company called *********** upsold me on the idea of a brown out kit that I also had installed. When the error messages began, I had Generac suggest a local contractor. I was assigned *********** of ******** MI. and have regretted the choice.

** did not contract me to set up an appointment and set up a customer file. Because I live in ********** and the generator is in ********* there was some confusion. ** came to my Marysville property, and I paid them for their time and mileage. I explained the generator was at my vacation property in ********* and I live in **********. That should have corrected that issue. Several times I had to request a bill from **. They advised that they updated the information with their secretary, and I even texted with her to make sure she had the information. Bills were still sent to *********, **

I thought I hired an expert to correct the issues. He advised that the brown out kit was unnecessary and removed it. He advised I should get an oil change every six months and I went along with the idea. He advised the gas line should run directly from the gas meter to the generator and I had him fix that issue. He advised to check with the ***************** about a larger gas meter. When I did ***** said I had a large enough meter.  As the issue was still existing, I upgraded to a larger gas meter. ($1400). I had done everything he requested, and the issue still existed. Every time he or his assistant came to my vacation property, I paid any **** I received. Finally, ** got upset at me, the customer, because he couldn't diagnose the problem, He also claimed he was not getting paid promptly due to the billing address issue he supposedly corrected. This was a ruse to explain why I had to pay $200 each time he came out, put the generator on manual to run, and rest it back to automatic. ** never corrected the issue; thus I switched to *************************** as my service provider. They have corrected the issue and have been very professional. They know the difference between a billing address and service address. I requested ** no longer contact me by text. His response was "fo f*** yourself"

Please post that ** electrical is not a company I would recommend. I am done with them. If they continue to harass me or swear at me again I will have to take them to court

****** ****, If you are going to tell a story, at least tell it correctly. first off, we have charged you 125. not 200. you have not paid your most current bill that I emailed to your email. Daddy. secondly, we came out there every time you asked. the generator was stumbling for gas so yes, I recommended he upgrade his meter. The reason we have decided to not do business with ****** **** is because he threatened us that we need to "get our house in order". I will be pursuing slander charges against ****** ****. Furthermore, the generator was register at the incorrect address. The address doesn't even exist. So, when ****** **** asked us to send it to the other address, we did. he had registered it one number off of his real address.  To eliminate confusion I sent it to his email. **************************.
